But then, would a credit card company be allowed to send you an email inviting you to apply for one of their cards if they suspected you wouldn't be accepted for one?

I'm always weary of these - transfer to use now and we'll promise you xy and z emails. My colleague is what one calls a credit card tart and hops from one to another. Admittedly he's never been declined but still....

I think that is ok, as long as you know your rating is good enough not to be turned down Ria :) Personally, I couldn't be faffed to keep switching :oops: :roll: :lol:
