Morning all, the rain has stopped but it is still raw and damp. We had Kellie for about an hour this morning as Miss Osc had a meeting locally and the childminder is sick. Kellie is very slightly better than yesterday when she spent most of the day on my lap or Mr Osc's, poor little pet. Now I'm getting us organised for our weekend in Cork, where we will stay with my brother and go dancing on Sunday. Just about to book seats on the train, back on Monday. Hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Hi all, still not feeling great....meant to be meeting Jan for lunch but I really don't feel up to it atm....I was awake aaaages coughing last night and this morning have woken feeling decidedly flu-ey, aches and pains, hot, sick, coughing, sneezing :( I hate being ill! It is Tom's birthday tomorrow and I wanted to be ok for that as well as Sunday as we have tickets to see a show on the evening....fingers crossed I feel a bit better by then! Kids calling in this evening to see him and Amy has invited herself to sleep over tonight, although she might change her mind when she hears me coughing!!

I've just done an online click and collect order....T will pick it up on his way from work - that's how bad I am, I always look forward to my days off so I can get out and about but not this week :(

Hope others have a better day xxxx

Good afternoon all.

Had a busy morning, and just got round to computing for a few minutes before lunch.

It's been quite a pleasant morning here, so we might take a walk this afternoon.

Hope you are all feeling fit.

Gal, if you can get past a Boots or Superdrug (or any chemist really) get some of this
http://www.benylin.co.uk/products/benyl ... ough-night

I took it when I was struggling with my cough and it works incredibly well. I recommended it to another friend who was also struggling and she too swears by it; it really is good

Aggers, enjoy your walk - the weather is obviously much better where you are than here. Admittedly it's dry but it's rather grey and uninspiring

Will get T or J to get me some of that Ria, although T sounds like he has got a bit of a cough as well :(

I've been sneezing today, am hoping it will just beggar off rather than develop into a full-blown cold!

We've been told to avoid sitting in our local bar, if we want to avoid colds and other nasties. Sit outside, if you can

And the first week we moved in, having sat in the bar for an hour, we both came down with a very nasty cold
