Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 07 Dec 2015, 07:44

Good morning.

It was a national holiday here yesterday and because it fell on a Sunday it's now a bridging day meaning another holiday! As it's National Conception day tomorrow this means a 3 day holiday. :D

A quick walk for me first then hairdresser Eduardo coming round at 11 to chop my hair. :x

Wrapping xmas presents for Don to take over to the UK tomorrow.

Out tonight for a couple of beers and a bite to eat with hubby as Conor is still away.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Dull and grey here again - but still warm ish ;)

Taking one pair of my new leggings down to a shop in the village later, to get them taken up. Often wonder why, when the Portuguese are such a short race, that most of the trousers are far too long

Then this afternoon over to Tavira, so Ted and Rose can collect the cigarettes they ordered, about 2,000, I think  :o

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally - have a great time but be careful out there, National Conception Day sounds a particular worry  ;)

Morning all. It's Uncle Ron's funeral today, not until 12.30 though. Annoyingly I need to go to WW first :o We've all been asked to try very hard to get to a meeting this week, as they are completely changing the WW system which needs explaining, and if we take our points calculators and books in they will change them free of charge for the new versions this week only! :? Normally I could easily miss a week :? :o :(

I did look into attending another of my leader's classes this week instead, but they are all in Cheltenham and they are in awkward to get to places  So I'm having to get to this one, even though it's the last thing I feel like doing  Mick is going to pick me up in town straight afterwards at 11.30 and it should give us plenty of time to get up to the crematorium.

Have a good day everyone xxxx

ETA Morning Ton, that is odd about the trousers! Mind you at 5ft 6 and a bit, and not particularly short legged I often find the same  My new leggings for zumba are overly long but they tuck into my socks so it doesn't show ;)

Morning all

Well that's one weekend that whizzed by yet again - I could easily do with another day or so at home to catch up on things I was meant to do over the weekend :D Had a lovely Christmas lunch on Saturday with a group of South African friends; far to much to eat and drink as you do - we all rolled home. Yesterday I put up some of the Christmas decorations; rooms are done but not the tree yet - can't find the lights for it and have a vague recollection that they stopped working last year - so I'll be buying new ones this week and then do the tree either one night this week or on the weekend

Usual work day for me; it's a dull grey and gloomy day - it looks as though it should be really nippy, but it's not at all.

Kaz, thinking of you today at 12.30 (((hug)))
Vic, good luck with the ECG; it's good of the doctor to be so thorough
Ton, please tell me that they're hoping to take most of those cigarettes back home with them? 2000 is a lot!
Enjoy your day Ally x

On a different note - love the fact that tomorrow is National Conception day with Christmas in a few weeks time - talk about the fastest pregnancy ever  :) :D

Morning all - rare appearance.

FOG!!! What is all that about? Could hardly see the other side of the road at 7:30, but it is slowly clearing.

Just had a call from the plumber, he and his assistant will be here at 10:30....... which 10:30 is anybody's guess.

Good luck to all you lot. Take care of yourselves.

Morning all, it's fairly dull here. The children went home yesterday evening and we enjoyed a lie in until almost 9am this morning. We are off to a shopping centre, Mr Osc says we will take it easy with lots of rests for my ankle - I will admit I overdid it over the last few days but with two active children to care for, it was hard not to. Yesterday my brother, his daughters and their babies came up from Cork on the train. The original idea was for Miss Osc and her two to meet up with them for a couple of hours, but with her stuck in London, I brought Kellie and Michael to meet them instead. It was mad with three babies, and tiring, but as they had made the effort to come up I thought it was the least I could do, and my sister came along to help me.

Ok I'm being told to hurry up, better get going  Have a good day everyone :)
