Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 09 Nov 2015, 05:59

Good morning. :D :D

Up early to wave both boys off to work.

Enjoyed making up the packed lunches for them...just like the old days. ;) ;)

I don't think we've ever laughed as much as we have the past 2 days with the lads...they are such good company. :D :D :D :D :D

Getting the 10am train back to Birmingham and going straight to see Joanie. :D

Back to the city centre for some last bits of shopping and lunch at the pub where we first met. :D :D

Back to Jackie's after that to spend the rest of the day with her. A couple of beers in her local later and then takeaway fish and chips all round. :D :D :D

Wishing everyone a good day and special vibes for those with health appointments later. xx

A lovely morning here again :D

Probably a busy day, one way or the other, no idea what's going to happen. Drive up to Ourique maybe?

Good luck to all those with hospital appointments, hope all goes well and smoothly xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally and Ton.
It is raining. Have been for the paper in the car. Saw some school children walking to school without any coats on in the rain. So they will have to sit in school with wet jumpers on.
What are their parents doing?
Should go dancing this evening but may not go if the weather doesn't improve. Just seen there is a long delay on the M6 southbound so a lot of people will be late for work.
Have a good day evrybody

Morning all :)

Ally, bet it was lovely to be able to make your boys' lunches for them! Glad you've had such a nice time with them, and I hope the visit to see Joanie goes well ((((x))))

Morning Ton, fingers crossed for you over the housey stuff!! XX

Morning cruiser :) If they were teenagers without coats I can understand it, it's very hard to get them to keep their coats on, once they are out of view

Well it's Mick's birthday :) He loves the boots I bought him, and the UB40 DVD, and the jammies   He got some nice cards too, some money from his mum, and B has bought him some art supplies, but he hasn't had those yet as she's still in the shower  He's taken the day off and we're planning to go out somewhere but the weather is looking horrendous so I don't know where yet   Somewhere we can have a nice lunch, anyway :)

Vibes for Jen and E later (((((((x)))))

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all. Drizzly but warm here.

Work until lunchtime then off to the supermarket before heading home. No riding today as the farrier is there all afternoon.

Out for a meal this evening with the four of us, Micks parents and mum.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning all, it is rainng here and forecast to be miserable for the rest of the day. My ankle is improving slowly but surely but I'm still on the crutches. Several bits and pieces to do today - tax the car, book a hotel room for a night in January when we are going to a ball in Dublin, thought it would be nice to stay the night, and I absolutely have to do some ironing when I sort out a way to support the ankle (I cannot iron sitting down). Good luck to Jen and E today. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
We have daylight :D And it's dry :D
Bb's gone a bit mad, he's cleaned both oven doors brilliantly, and now he's hanging out the washing - all without being asked :? :)

Osc it's a right nuisance that's for sure, at least planning for your ball will be nice xx
Happy birthday to M :) x
Ally sounds like a perfect trip :)

Well, we ended up with bargains galore yesterday, from M&S of all places! Got there just as the lady was going round reducing stuff for the second time 8-)
Having just bought a big pack of chicken breasts from Tesco to make a curry, we then got two chicken curries with rice and veg sides for £1.30 each :)
And two big packs of chicken chunks in tikka marinade, one of turkey strips with some marinade/sauce, and a chicken and prawn paella, all £1.20 each :D
I needed a supply of chicken breasts anyway :D

Right, I think I shall make him a nice cup of coffee now as a thank you :)

Good morning all. A typical Autumnal morning here - just so-so.

We're getting ready today for a three day break starting tomorrow - a coach holiday to
Thursford Christmas Spectacular and Sandringham. Never been to either before, so quite
looking forward to it.

Hope you are all happy.

Thanks for M's birthday wishes, will pass them on ;)

Di, I'd be checking round the house for anything broken or missing I think, Bb is starting to worry me ;) :P :D :P

Osc I can't iron sitting down either, I tried it when my back was bad :? Good idea to book a hotel for that dance 8-) :D

Aggers, have a wonderful break, and Debih enjoy your meal out :)

The weather is atrocious here, so we went to Cheltenham and stayed under cover  We had lunch, a looong mooch around the lovely Waterstones there :) it's in a beautiful old Regency building, on the Promenade there, with lots of little winding staircases and nooks and crannies. Mick likes it in there so we were a while. Then we decided to do some ceeword shopping in TK Maxx - we got some lovely smellies for my sisters-in-law, a shirt for Harry (Ben Sherman, but a great price) and a lovely pair of black treggings for me    Size 12 again  :D  Yahoooo!! :Hi: We've got chocolate birthday cake for after dinner, better not eat too much
