Postby Ally » 31 Oct 2015, 07:23

Good morning gals and ghouls. :D :D :D :D :D

Picking mum and dad up this morning and bringing them over for the day. Today is their last full day on holiday....7 weeks have flown by!!! :o

I've made a huge cottage pie. (their favourite :D )

At 4pm we're all, including Conor, going back to their local (The German Paddy  ) to watch the Rugby final.

Us 3 will then come back here as Conor is going out with his g/f and Don & I are going to a Halloween party. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally :) Morning everyone :)

Aw that 7 weeks has flown by Ally, hope you enjoy the last full day with them, and the party tonight, Becky went to an early Halloween party in Wales yesterday - that sounds exotic but Wales isn't very far away from us, only about 30 miles   She'll be back some time later today, no doubt the worse for wear :P   It's Harry's last full day with us too, he's going back tomorrow as school starts again on Monday. It's been lovely having him here for half-term, he is getting so funny and (if I may say so) such a lovely young man :) I'll miss him next week............Today we'll be out for lunch later, then going to see D. I'm hoping the forecast is right, and it stays dry for the weekend as I really MUST get my bulbs and pansies in!

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Very autumnal this morning. A lot of rain last night and just grey and damp this morning.

So a day for staying in and doing the ironing and making a curry :D

Those 7 weeks certainly have flown by Ally. It won't be long before their next visit, something to look forward to.

Whatever you're doing today, enjoy xx

Morning you three :D

Gosh Ally, time really has flown by - have a fab day with the parentals and enjoy the party tonight
Kaz, so glad you had a fab time with H; totally get where you're coming from with them growing up
Ton, enjoy the curry - yum

I'm sitting here waiting for someone from E.ON to come by to do a meter inspection - meant to be here between 8 and 12 and I really could have done with him coming sooner rather than later, but hey ho.... still got and hour and a half to wait. Then getting myself and the house ready - off about 4.30 / 5ish to drop off the little hog at the rescue and then to a friends for Halloween dinks. I'll be staying over at theirs tonight so need to make sure the house is set up so the cats feel OK because of the fireworks.... I really really really wish it would pour down today, but sods law it's a gorgeous autumn day which no doubt means lots of fireworks :(

have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-) Hope it stays nice and dry for all the children out with their parents this evening.

We're off into town to pick up E's prescription as soon as we've had brekkie, it's so nice I'm sure we'll have a nice walk round the harbour.

Happy Halloween Image

Afternoon :)
A beautiful day here, so I was out early to the market. Didn't buy anything but enjoyed it, hadn't been for a while.
Bb's out working, not sure till when but he's picking up the couple of bits of shopping on his way home, including bags of sweets for the Halloween callers :)
We don't mind, it's always just local kids, from very young with parents to teenagers on their way to parties but all dressed up and all friendly :)

Ally that must seem the shortest seven weeks if the year, but lovely they're already booked for next time x
Kaz grunting/shrugging episodes aside I've always really enjoyed the boys' company :)

Good afternoon all.

It's lovely and sunny here now. We've been shopping in town this morning.
We like to get down there early on Saturdays,- before it gets too crowded.

Tonight we're having Halloween Bingo here, so we're getting out our masks,
big spiders and witches clothes. (A big improvement for some of us.)

Have a good day.

Afternoon all, it was dull earlier on but the sun has come out now and it is lovely. Been busy, cleaned the bathrooms earlier, then we went to watch Michael's football training. His Daddy does a lot of the training and was dressed in a chicken for the day that's in it, he looked so funny! Michael scored three goals and was thrilled that Grandad was there to see it. Need to do a bit more tidying around as we have friends coming for lunch tomorrow, and I want to make a trifle too. SCD tonight and it should be fun for Halloween. Not sure if we will get any trick-or-treaters, we never used to in our old house, but I got some supplies just in case. We are more concerned about later on when messers are on the prowl and are going to turn off the door bell just in case, once it has gone past time for children. Have a good day everyone :)

Hi all - trying hard to arrange decently spaced time off next year, and look around for a couple of weeks break....mid June has been approved by Boss, but not late April (when I'd hoped more for that!).....apparently the one full timer has already put his week holiday in so mine cannot be approved! FFS, he has only been with us five minutes, seems very unfair!! And then Boss has allowed another (favourite!) staff member to have the same week off as before-mentioned full timer in the summer       Not happy!

Cloudy and grey until about an hour ago here.....sun is out now but will go down in less than an hour....*sigh* I have a small bowl of sweeties in readiness for when the tinies on our estate start their trick or treating....I'll ignore the bell from around 7pm....

Wow Ally those 7 weeks have flown by!! Safe journey home for your parents xx

Jen has just gone to work, T and I will have our Chinese takeaway alone in front of SCD later :)

Have a good Saturday all xxx
