Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Well Dave managed to get back here at 5.30 yesterday evening and they worked through until 9pm. It's still not completely finished yet and actually there are a number of things we feel they've now rushed and aren't up to standard. He's under the impression it's almost done and is expecting final payment this evening, think we could be having an interesting conversation  Not looking forward to that, but this is costing a lot of money and we can't afford to do it again!!

Off out to coffee this morning, hopefully it will take my mind of what's been going on here.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Sunny and warm outside 8-)

Not so good inside - both had a rubbish night, coughing, sneezing, hot, cold, achey

So this has put the kibosh on us meeting with Di and Bry on Friday, the last thing we'd want to do would be to give them colds and they've still got a week of holiday to go, so it's going to have to be postponed

We«ll be spending the day, with hanky at the ready, feeling sorry for ourselves.

Jen, never nice when you have to do something like that, but it's your money, your bathroom and you have to live with it.

Have a good day everyone, if you can ;)

Oh no, so sorry to read this - what a disappointment. But agree that minimising any risk of passing on a cold is a wise move - I take it no chance of meeting next week?

Hope you both feel better very soon - get some chicken soup on the go and dose up with Vit C, Zinc and Echinacea

There was bloke sat behind me, on Monday night, when we went out who was coughing and spluttering all the way through his dinner.

I said at the time that he shouldn't be out, passing it on to other people, let's hope we don't get it.

We had planned on going up to Ourique next week, Ria, but will see what we can sort out.

Morning all, a nice morning but not as gloriously sunny as yesterday. Supermarket shop and a walk on today's schedule and going dancing tonight. So sorry you have a dose, Ton, shame you will miss out on seeing Di and Bb :( Jen, I know these conversations are hard, but it is your money so don't pay until you are completely happy, nothing worse than the job not being done to your satisfaction. Have a good day everyone :)
