Morning Saundra, morning all. :D :D

After yesterday's rather pleasant low 30's we're going up to 40 again today. Africa has moved closer I swear!

I've been for a quick run and swim and am all showered ready to pop into work this morning - I'm going to look at some previous exam papers and prepare some work for my students for next week. :D :D

Back late morning to my mobile library by the pool.

Have a great day everyone and good luck Kaz. xxx

Morning Saundra, morning all :)
Well, contrary to the forecast it's fairly bright and very breezy here so fingers crossed I might get some washing done and dried :)

We ignored the rain and went out for a bit of shopping yesterday but I probably need to do some more.
Other than that some h-wordy stuff this morning then whatever I fancy doing this afternoon.

Good luck to Kaz :)
Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning all :)

Enjoy everything you are doing - Ally has Don got wet yet? It's forecast here again

Russian roulette time, Di, with the washing I think, but I hope you manage to get it dried :)

Ria, I hope all goes well with your first day back at work 8-)

Saundra it was like that here on Friday, started raining at 7am and didn't stop (literally) all day

Well it's my interview today at noon (thanks so much for the good wishes!) so we'll be leaving here just before 11am. I think I'm all prepared, so fingers crossed! Witney is about 10 miles this side of Oxford, and it takes about 40 minutes ;) I should be back by about 2ish so I'll post about it when I get back :)

Becky and Harry will be here this afternoon! They are getting the train back from their dad's - Harry is spending a week or two here at the start of the holidays - he has tennis coaching later on in August over at his dad's. He wants to try out new sports :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

And hope today goes well for Ria too xx - always difficult, going back to work after a few days away.

Not sure what we'll be doing today - nothing too strenuous, anyway

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello all
Drizzling foggy cold day here today, it finally lifted about 3:30 so we could see the rain clouds that the fog and drizzle were hiding. . Thunder and hail predicted tomorrow and I've got to drive to west Auckland.

However it was a productive day and I've not a clue what I achieved.

Hubby worked last night till 4am, so I let him sleep till 10:30 as he still had to work today. He's working again tonight but thinks he will finish about midnight, but no sleep in as he has to be back at work in the morning for a meeting.

Good luck kaz and Ria

The sun was shining when I got up although it looked a bit watery, but I hung out the washing (towels) and crossed my fingers - we now have that heavy drizzle that soaks you in seconds, oh well the towels can stay there. Mr Osc is supposed to be playing golf, but won't if the rain continues. I've no big plans, a visit to the library and maybe some h/work. Good luck Kaz, you will be great. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all. Dull and dreary here but at least its not raining (yet).

Work for me until around 2pm and then I'm off for a run straight after. I've not been for almost a fortnight and I'm very conscious that I haven't got long til the 10k.

No real plans for this evening other than giving S's window sill another coat of gloss. She stayed at my mums last night as they are off shopping this morning and she's staying again tonight as she's helping mum out at a church toddler thing tomorrow.

She spent the day at her friends yesterday dip dyeing each others hair. Her's was rather brighter than I expected it to be (bright orange!!!) and I'm hoping it fades quickly. I took a photo of it to prepare Mick - I'll post it this evening when I get home.

Morning all :D

Dry but quite windy here, wonder if it will improve as the day goes on :?

Good luck today Kaz x

We've only just surfaced, all that driving over the weekend finishes me off these days  We had a horrendous journey going, apparently there was a stranded vehicle on the M25, and no we didn't ever see it, but it meant we were travelling for 4hrs 30mins. Only just made it on time for the garden party!! That went really well, the sun shone and everyone had a good time. Mother was really happy to see us, but she had absolutely no idea what was going on which I do find rather sad :( Overall though it was a lovely afternoon and she obviously enjoyed it. The journey home yesterday was easier traffic wise, but the rain meant lots of heavy spray on the motorway which isn't much fun.

No real plans, going to take it relatively easy, but we will have a start on the spare bedroom later. There are lots of big suitcases to sort, they're pretty full with towels and stuff like that, so it's just a matter of deciding/finding where to put the contents and then the cases can go up in the loft until we need them for a holibobs. I've already said to E the loft bit can definitely wait till tomorrow, all that sitting in the car tends to make him seize up so a bit of gentle pootling is best for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

It's bright and breezy here (like me!).
Been a long walk, read the paper, done the crossword, and had morning coffee.
Nothing planned for this afternoon..

Hope you are all well.
