Sorry guys, but I am going to have a rant.

VV was the site that brought us all together. It was the gel that held us together. It was originally started by the brilliant Shaz, though she rarely posts anymore.

Kaz and Mick did a fantastic job in taking it over, and they deserve our support and our appreciation. So we need to post, and post often, or it will wither and die.

I do not want that. I love you all so much that I want VV to grow and thrive. We also need to explore ways of getting some of the 'guests' to join and post. Please, please post more. Twitbook is not for everyone, though I suspect that is where most of you are holding your VV 'conversations'.

Please keep VV alive and relevant, please. Post for goodness sake.

Sorry WM but I think you're being a bit OTT here!

If you look, on the whole, posts are made aplenty and very regularly.

This might be just one of those days you've happened to be popping in to VV a bit more than normal and noticed it quiet. It's probably the regular posters are busy getting on with their RL. No offence.
For eg. Kaz has been at B's graduation.
It's flippin scorchio here - the last thing I feel like doing is sitting posting at my laptop.
I'm sure the other regular posters just happen to be busy today.

Your good self can go a few days days without posting on cafe - you're lucky Frank. If you choose not to post you immediately send us VVer's into 'where is WM?' mode.

As for twitbook'. Wrong. VV conversations, as far as I know, are held on VV.

Yes, lots of us VVers are on FB..you are too.
What's said on VV is for VV readers....ditto what's said on FB is for FB users.

Sorry good buddy, but there has been a drop off in posts, and it it is not a daily thing re today. I have noticed it for a while now, and it worries me, it worries me a lot. I bet Mick could tell us what daily traffic is compared to last year.

I want the site to survive and prosper, but I am scared that it is shrinking to the point that only a few of us die-hards will remain. That appears to be what is happening. I come on during the day and regularly see 14 or more guests. They are obviously interested in what we have to offer, so why are they not joining in? Is it because we make it so difficult?

And why do people leave without word? Frilly went, so did Dippy and it appears that Jo has. Has anyone tried to find out why?

I am not being critical, but I am slightly concerned.
