Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 05 Jul 2015, 05:30

Good morning. :D

Usual July weather. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'm off for a run shortly - not done a proper one for just over 2 weeks so will find it hard.

Back for a swim and most probably a gallon of coffee.

Catching up with stuff I've recorded on TV and my book..that'll do today.

Have a good one.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Hot 8-)

Bit of houseworkery stuff for me - I gave up on it all yesterday, after the ironing marathon

And we're having roast chicken    for dinner - well, I'm cooking 2, one for tonight, one cold for salads next week.

I will also be reading, sat outside in the coolest place I can find

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning
Missy's looking better today.
I've done a bit of sanding, and plastering, ready (hopefully) for a bit of painting tomorrow. School holidays though, so I probably won't get to it until next weekend.
Have a good day everyone

Morning all :)

Ally, hope the run goes ok, and enjoy that coffee!!! :D

Ton, roast chicken sounds good to me, and chicken salad even better 8-) :)

Weka, I'm glad Missy feels better :)

Well it's a lot cloudier here today, we're off food shopping soon and H and B will come with us so we can have a brunch in the café there. That means Mick and H can get on the road by early afternoon, to get H back to his dad's........It's been lovely having him here, we had a great day yesterday, enjoying the sunshine :) We took a few photos out and about, of the kids holding up letters. Their aunt asked them to take them, they were holding up letters to spell out part of the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDAD. My ex's dad turns 80 later this month and as he is not at all well they are having a very special party, and a frieze of all the grandchildren holding a letter and spelling out the words is part of that. Nice idea I think - he is a lovely old chap, I was always very fond of him when I was his DiL......

This afternoon will be quiet, with Mick and the dogs out, so I might well get on with some housey stuff. It's a good opportunity to steam the floors while the pooches are gone ;)

Have a good day everyone :)

Gorgeous red sky last night so expected a lovely morning :)
How wrong can you be--it is chucking it down and no signs of
stopping :o
Was going to have a run in the new car later but man opposite has
parked his large van outside his house just behind my car so difficult
to drive out :(
I will have to have a word with him as it is happening nearly every
day as he is doing the place up to move into (it is the bungalow that
my friend who died last year owned)

Morning :)
All cloudy here too, although no rain forecast - still pretty warm so quite nice to have a day off from the heat :)

Yes Lissie, best now rather than leave it, hopefully he'll understand x
That is a lovely idea Kaz, with the letters :)
We're going to be doing a bit of gardening, since it's not too hot, after sausage butties and before Bb watches the Grand prix, but we can do more after :)
Have a good day

Morning all............ooops it's afternoon

It's wet and miserable here. A complete contrast after the lovely sunshine yesterday, glad we didn't put off going to the fair until today.

We're having roast chicken too Ton, I'll cook it later and we'll have it with salad, can't bear standing in a hot kitchen cooking veggies in muggy weather. I've made some jelly and blancmange for pud.

Glad missy is better weka :D

I agree with Di, best to have a word now before it becomes an issue Lissie x

No plans for today, intend to be very lazy

Hope you all have a good day :D

That's a shame Saundra, it got better and better here. We did a stint of gardening this morning but it was too hot to stay in it long:)
Been to the nursery this afternoon, will plant a pot after this cup of tea :)
