Looks nice again - the weather has actually been most acceptable since my arrival on these shores.

I'm off for a stroll (runs have been down-graded somewhat! ) round the country park after a cup of coffee.

Meeting Jude for lunch then back to Jackie's

But not before I've bought a couple of t shirts I spied yesterday.

Meeting Gez and Sharon tonight for a curry at the Hen & Chickens - the food is fab there.

Sunny here too, and I really need a good walk as I've done nothing but eat and drink lots for two days Housey stuff to do first, but then I'll be out later The dogs are so pleased to have me back, they've stuck to me like glue

Not going to a walk, but a drive - up to Ourique Seeing friends today and tomorrow, dinner out at the Adega de Monte Velha tonight - and tomorrow, if it's as good as our friends say

Odemira tomorrow, may even see a yurt or two

Minnie's a bit pooped after her swims yesterday, she was so excited and we found a perfect stick, she must have gone in for it about 20 times
Kaz I should probably walk off the enormous slice of lemon cake I had too, but today's a fast day so that will help
I shall be walking up into the village later so will do the round-about route
And my new vacuum cleaner's coming within the next hour - Bb's here till lunchtime, should I let him have first play?

Sat in the fracture clinic with L - just had an announcement that they are running 50 minutes late. How?????? The first appointment is at 9.30 - they've only been open 40 minutes when they made the announcement!!!!!

Di they went bonkers when I got in, and as soon as I sat down Fraggle was on my lap and wouldn't get off I let him off the 'no sofa' rule which we have been very strict on, as actually he never touched the sofa at all!

We had a very long lie in, recovering from the extra bottle of bubbly we opened last night

We've got an appointment to pop over to the bungalow to do some measuring up at 4 this afternoon. All very exciting
