Morning everyone

Up far too early   sometimes I can go back to sleep, this morning not  not sure why

Sun will be out to play later, hoping for a lovely day again. It's not been too hot yet this year.

We had planned on going to Tavira, but will go on Friday now - after our viewing, we'll go shopping - need beer ;)

Hope you have a good day everyone and hugs for the poorlies xx

The house - and outside - is now ready for inspection :D 8-)

Better to do it early, when it's relatively cool, than later, when it's hot. And it's going to be a lovely, hot day :D :D :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here again 8-)

Good luck today Ton, fingers tightly crossed x

Up at silly o'clock as we're off to stay overnight with youngest daughter. Well to be more precise, it's her wedding anniversary today so Z&M are off to London, staying in a hotel tonight and seeing a show, so we're looking after the boys. The original plan was for the boys to come here for a couple of days, but their car's playing up so it's plan B  We'll be back sometime tomorrow evening.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :D

I've been awake since early too - I was making brekkie at 6.55    It's a gorgeous morning, so the sun woke me but I don't mind that one little bit! Already got the first lot of washing on, that will be ready in a minute, then the second load will be ready to put out before I go out later. B wants to come out with me today but if she does she'll have to walk, cos I am :P :D  Harry has cancelled on us for the weekend, he's had the offer of a sleepover with a gang of his schoolmates  Oh well, hopefully the following weekend then! Although, we do need to pop over that way soon, to belatedly take C out for his birthday meal so perhaps we'll see him then instead! I'm fairly philosophical about it, although I miss him of course - he's very happy and busy and that's how it should be 8-)

Have a nice trip Jen, and Happy Anniversary to your D and SIL :)

Enjoy your swim Ally :)

Housey vibes for Ton!! {{{{{{{{x}}}}}}}}

Have a lovely day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Another one with an early start, but that's because I had to get over to Karl and Nadine's so Nadine could draw some blood to send off via her work. We did a full blood profile not long ago but when I saw my GP he said it would be wise to get thyroid, rheumatism checked as well and then while we're at it we're doing Vit D levels... that then covers everything. I could have done it via the NHS but that would mean taking time off work. Definitely a huge advantage of having a sister-in-law that's a nurse and than can help with these things

Ton, best of luck for today!
Jen, enjoy the time with the boys; and happy anniversary to your daughter and her OH
Ally, enjoy the swim; that's one thing I really look foward to when I go on summer holiday; waking up and having a dip in the pool - lovely!
Kaz, sorry that H has cancelled, but as you say - he's really happy and that is what counts. Must be quite hard for you though (((hug)))) Enjoy your walk into town and say hi to B

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Evening all, we were up very very early this morning to head off to the golf, had the clock set for 6.30am but we woke before 5.30 so were up before 6am "yawn". The rain arrived slightly earlier than forecast but thankfully we were well dressed for it - winter clothes at the end of May  Met up with SIL and Michael, who were having fun, went our own way then bumped into them again. Because of the relentless rain, we weren't able to do what we normally like on these occasions and in the end, we left early. However, all was not lost! We drove to Banbridge where there is a Denby outlet shop and topped up our Denby, as we can't get the pattern down here - been meaning to make that trip for ages but now we don't need to. Of course, now that we are home, it's a lovely evening  Early to bed tonight I think!
