Morning all :D

We got woken up at 6.45, about normal for the boys

The sun's out and it's looking nice and bright so the plan for today is a bus trip down to the beach, after we've all had brekkie that is. We'll probably stop at Peter's for fish and chips and I know a visit to Sorbetto's is a definite must. I think some little people will sleep very soundly tonight

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Ally :)

Jen that sounds great, I hope you all have a fun day :D

Not much planned here, a walk out later and I'll pick up some bread while I'm out. Might meet B for lunch, she's planning to go to the gym this morning I think....Otherwise a lazyish day :)

Have a good day everyone, I hope all of the poorlies are continuing to improve :) xxx

Morning all - well had a lovely week off at home and got quite a bit done in the garden, but with a really good mix of having friends round / going out; so it's been perfect really.

Today's job is to lop two shrubs that need it to look at their best this year and others because they've totally overgrown and need cutting back. My trusty shredder will be hard at work today :) A friend is coming round for an early dinner tonight which will be lovely

Kaz, enjoy having a lazy day and say hi to B - girly lunch in town sounds lovely
Jen, your day sounds perfect, enjoy every minute of it. Not sure what it's like your part of the world, but whilst it's sunny here there is a rather nippy wind blowing again ;)
Ally, as always enjoy your fabulous Friday

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning everybody.

I have posted earlier but it has not appeared on here.
So I am having another try.

Going to see an eye consultant this afternoon. When I went to see my optician in March for an annual check, he was not happy with one of the test results.
He wanted a second opinion to make sure I d not have a problem.
Have to have glasses to read and use the compute. OK with long distance, including driving.
Will let you know what happensr

Hi all - gorgeous here again although I think we might get some more cloud than we did yesterday....

Yesterday was great, had my weekly trip to town for coffee and cake, did a spot of shopping and then home to do h/w. I had to strip the bed this morning as T was sweating tons in bed last night....I wish he was better!! :( I'm almost back to normal now thankfully....well sort of ;)

Later we had a visit from D and J with Lily - they are moving house :D A brand new build not a stones' throw from where they are now but with a lovely modern kitchen and a third bedroom :D They council rent atm, have done for years, and this is a rent to buy so their payments won't actually increase all that much :) Also J has been given a permanent contract at his place of work, he's been there as agency for over two years, so it's all systems go :D Very happy for them, so much happening for them this year :D

I have no plans for today atm, not cut the grass yet this year but T said he'd do that when he thought it necessary....it's one of only a few jobs he does in the house so I don't want to take over that but it's getting long...might have a ride down to the beach and blow some cobwebs away, I'm still a bit 'chesty' from last week.

Glad you've had a good week off Ria, sounds perfect :D

Have a lovely time in town with B Kaz - Jen never wants to come with me  .....usually cos she's working from home, or more likely isn't read when I want to leave the house. Oh well...

Have a smashing Friday xxx

Missy has had a high temp all day. Poor thing, school goes back on Monday, not a good start to the term. I think she will be off sick.
