Only in Portugal - part 29934 - or whatever it is

Postby tonicha » 06 Apr 2015, 19:48

We decided on a bbq yesterday, as we knew the weather was going to be a bit not so nice for the rest of the week.

Had a beer each, as you do, got everything ready, Grumpy lit the bbq - both sat outside, in the back garden, admiring Hiho    and the heavens opened

So this stupid person - me       - stood there, with an umbrella - over the bbq

I got rather wet    but the rain stopped, the sun came out and the food was gurt scrummy :D :D :D :D and I gently steamed, apparently, as the sun dried me off

We normally have a little sunshine WM ;) but it was okay, the entremeadas and pork loin was gurt lush and I did a white bean thingy to go with it and twice cooked spuds, with pepper, onion and garlic.

That all sounds lovely Ton. But yes, I thought an umbrella was an essential tool when bbq'ing :P

I've now had to shut the big shutters upstairs, as the wind has really picked up - nasty weather for a few days

Our neighbours all think we're bonkers anyway, so an umbrella over the bbq is nothing, really, in the madness stake 8-)
