Good Morning Sunday

Postby tonicha » 18 Jan 2015, 04:44

Morning everyone

Up this early as it's blowing a real hooley out there and lashing down with rain    and some now very dead mozzie had an early breakfast too

So a day for battening down and staying in. Think we'll be reading and keeping warm today.

Hope the weather isn't too bad over there.

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather x

Morning Ton, I hope you got back to sleep ok :? :)

Well it's bright sunshine this morning, but that can change very quickly round here

Food shopping later this morning, then a lazy afternoon catching up on things we've missed on iplayer hopefully :) Becky starts her journey home tonight - it's an overnight flight from Windhoek, then a morning one from Frankfurt, then landing in Heathrow just before lunchtime. E's dad is picking them up and dropping B back here, then E back in Bristol, and they are back to uni on Tuesday :) The wildlife place where they've been, Na'ankuse, is featured in Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans on Tuesday night. It was filmed there last year apparently 8-) :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning :)
Guess what it's wet here

Oh dear Ton, is it still at it? xx
Kaz hope their journey home goes as planned :)

Nothing exciting doing here, I may go into town for a wander if it's not raining too much.
Exciting developments on the holiday front though, that will keep me going :D
Hope you all have a good day

Morning everyone
Safe travels for Becky
Hope you don't get blown away Ton

Sunshiny day here, so much so at 10pm i'm still in my togs. Spent the entire day in my SIL's mothers pool. It was my nephews birthday party today, and Auckland really pulled one out of the bag for us. at times, not a cloud in the sky, and that's unheard of here. I had to drag oliver out of the pool kicking and screaming at 4pm to go home.

Absolutely loving summer this year. I'm hoping that since it didn't arrive till just before new year, that it will stay long past March.
Everything happens for a reason

Good morning. :D :D

We have been forecast one day of rain and that day is today.

I went out at 8 for a run (Jantastic challenge has to be done! ) and it started to rain 25 minutes ago but it's stopped at the moment.

I swear we live in our own micro climate. 8-)

Reading, TV footie and chilling for me on the cards. :D :D :D

Safe travels for B Kaz and wishing everyone a goodly day. :D :D

Good morning everybody
Had some of the white stuff last night. Then the temperature dropped. So lots of frozen snow. It is now becoming foggy. Skated down for the paper. Main road is clear but side roads are treacherous.
Have started packing as we are going to warmer climates on Friday.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Safe journey to B Kaz x

Getting packed and ready for our trip to London. We'll be staying overnight at the Hilton Canary Wharf so not too far from the 02. Tonight it's Adam Lambert + Queen, very excited, and tomorrow morning it's the Elvis exhibition.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Looking nice and sunny here today.

Bits and bobs this morning, then over to eldest's house to help with shelves and mirrors. Either him or his girlfriend will be cooking dinner, so looking forward to that.

Safe trip home to B today and hope she had a wonderful time.

Have a good day everyone x

And I'm back - berlimey that was a strong wind    We ended up dozing on the sofas, as it's quieter down here, not too many windows/shutters.

Then it stopped at 7.15, so went back to bed

More to come tomorrow, wind wise. And showery, so not too bad.

We now have some blue sky, although there is a lot of grey/white.

Safe journey home to B Kaz, hope she's had a brilliant time :D
