Good Morning Wednesday

Postby tonicha » 07 Jan 2015, 07:28

Morning everyone

We're getting a lovely sunrise, so hopefully, a lovely day is on it's way.

Up early, as I went to bed reasonably early and now my head is buzzing with all sorts of things that need doing

A busy day, as we're off to Olhao to tax the car - always fun at Finances   - and then shoe and sock shopping and food shopping.

Hope you all have a good day and WM enjoys his first full day of freedom :D :D xx

Good morning peeps. :D :D

Another gorgeous day on its way here. 8-) 8-)

Run for me shortly then walking into town to go to the bank and post office.
They've been closed for 2 days for the holidays so no doubt they will be packed - but the Spaniards just use that as another excuse for a good long talking session and I'll just join them.

Back at work today 4 - 8. :D

Looking forward to seeing my colleagues and students again - it's been 3 weeks!

Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning both :)

Ally I hope you enjoy your first day back :)

Ton I hope you find some nice shoooos

Mick left early to go to Swindon, he has a long service presentation to make to a colleague there - 35 years! He'll spend the day there as it's a good chance to catch up and he hasn't been over there for a good while. I'll probably stay in with the dogs for most of the day, might get a walk later. Not heard from Becks so all must be well

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. Am waiting for the storm to hit - it has given horrific weather for later today.

I'm at work at the moment, yet again with very litle to do. I will be glad when next week comes and I start going out and about again. I have bought my book in the hope that I am in the office alone!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Pleased the weather's so nice, it's Z's 40th birthday, where did all that time go :o and M's taking her up to London for the day.

No proper plans for us, think we'll have brekkie and then take a stroll by the harbour later this morning.

Hope you all have a lovely day :D

Good morning all, it's raining here  The forecast was wrong, it said that it'd be dry until this afternoon so I did a load of washing last night and it was on the line just after 7am. I took Billy for a walk and it was lovely when we set out, the sunrise was gorgeous and the sky was pretty clear - 20 minutes later it started raining and hasn't stopped since

John's had to go on a site visit today to Sunderland so he'd got quite a drive ahead of him this morning.

Loz, is that a short term arrangement or are they staying a while? My cousin and his wife whose wedding we went to in the Summer were renting a flat and finding it difficult to save for a deposit to buy so moved back in with her parents earlier in the year, it's really helped them and they're hoping to complete on their first home in the next few weeks :)

Oh poor you Saundra, you seem to be having one thing after another lately :( I hope you feel better soon xx

Have a good day all!

Morning :)
Still dry here, rain due anytime.

Not exactly nice, it's blowing a gale and pretty dull but I decided Minnie and I should go round the sea wall :) I always forget that if it's windy in our walled garden then it's going to be 10 times worse on an exposed stretch of coast
Very muddy too, there's been so much rain for months.
Minnie was happy, although I only let her go in for a paddle, it's far too rough for a swim. She's now nicely knackered :D

Best of all though, I got to see the capsized thing, this
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-30705547
Didn't realise it was visible from our side but it's quite clear - quite a sight, and even better there were two guys there looking at it with tripods and telescopes and let me have a proper look :D

Ooh Loz you getting lodgers?
Saundra you poor thing, you're probably still a bit low so susceptible, are you taking some extra vitamins? (((x)))

All sorts of odds and ends I should be doing, and have soaked a load of beans to make this scaled down a bit :)

Bb's back this evening so I shall be going to collect him from the train.
