Another lovely day on the cards.

Going for a run after my coffee.

Then it's the great mince pie shopping expedition of 2014 - a round trip to Iceland in Mijas Costa for these festive must haves.

Stopping for some lunch on the coast along the way.

Back home to watch The Railway Children - I haven't seen it for years and really fancy sprawling on the sofa and enjoying it again.

Mornng all. Why is it I struggle to get up on work days but when I'm off I'm up with the lark?

Got to nip to Sainsburys this morning for last minute bits - I'm going in a few minutes to try and beat the rush (it doesn't open til 8am).

Home to clean though I'm having lunch with friends so I don't see much cleaning taking place.

Grumpy's turn at the doc's - both taking books, prepared for the long wait. But having checked it out this morning, place looks desereted

Then down to the village, for a coffee and people watch. Chilling out in the front garden later, with a beer or three - ditto people watching

Morning all - I had a busy weekend with family and am quite happy to be spending a quiet day in the office today and tomorrow. Believe you me - I love my family dearly but they are sent to try us and if at all possible, then Christmas next year I am going to do my best to not have any family staying at mine.

I think most of my Christmas stuff is under control. Tesco is delivering the bulk of the Christmas food tonight; I need to collect the gift for my brother on Wednesday morning and I need to come up with inspiration for something for the lady who looks after my cats and then I'm done. I think I'm going to put together a nice food hamper for her.
