Another gorgeous day forecast.

Walking into town this morning to have breakfast at a little cafe - they do fantastic scrambled eggs with the added zing of a few chillies.

SCD final tonight.

I'll be watching it wearing me glad rags - as soon as its finished we're off to a party at Paco's world famous vodka emporium.

This will be a night of madness. Fact.

Too dark to see what the weather's doing yet. Hopefully the day will start with a Billy walk and I plan to decorate a tree for the downstairs living room and I want to shampoo the carpets all through the house.

Morning you two, morning all

It is a murky one out there! We were bounced out of bed at 7.45 with a callout for Mick. Well Mick bounced, I just lay there in a daze and gradually came to.............. Either tonight or tomorrow is the longest night of the year, after that the days start getting longer again!!!

We'll be out later as per - Becks is working 12-4, we usually go for our lunch in the Quays, near where she works, so she'll get a lift. Then Mick and I will pop to see D and take the Christmas pressies for her and the outlaws, as she'll be spending Christmas down there so will deliver them for us I might finish wrapping my pressies later, or I might do it tomorrow The big food shop is tomorrow, and I have a £25 voucher for Morrisons which will help, just a little with the bill Not done a recce of Lidl this year - usually D offers and we both go but not this time I guess Mick and I could go but it's always heaving at weekends, never mind this weekend

Kaz yesterday Lidl was surprisingly quiet - but already had big signs up saying they've sold out of frozen turkeys!! Not that we wanted one, but I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have bought them yet - with a small freezer it's pretty common to only get it when you can leave it out to defrost

We're doing ok I think, preparation-wise, though I'll probably think differently by tomorrow afternoon
Bb's working today which is a shame, quite a way away too, and with a lot of shopping traffic to plough through Can't be helped
I shall be staring at lists and vacantly wondering what I should be doing

It's supposed to be a lovely day, but we have a sea mist making it very grey and cold

Poorling for us, and catching up with e-mails etc.

I'm not going near a shop until afterwards - unless we run out of beer, in which case it will be a short swoop into the nearest Lidl's

I went to Lidl and Tesco last night to avoid the crowds Now I need a day at home to get the house tidy for mum and Mr L's dad. So two bedrooms to sort out...one of those is my sewing room bolt hole
