Funeral today. Seems ages since the cremation. But today should be nicer - lots of friends and family there.

Well it looks brightish here, so hopefully no rain

I need to get the ironing done, I ran out of housework steam yesterday before I got to it :oops:

I'm typing very awkwardly as a fingernail came off last night! Only a gel so no pain involved lol but it looks and feels really odd, so I'll be going to get them done later. Been putting it off for a week as I want this time to last over Christmas

Ally, good luck with the Secret Santa shopping - do you have to get a present for a random person or have you been allocated someone to buy for?

Kaz, it it an odd feeling when the gel comes off, isn't it. What I find helps is if you put a clear varnish on it. Are you going for Christmas themes nails or staying classic / chic?

Usual work day for me and then busy evening at home. Karl and I are doing the flooring in the bedroom over the weekend so I've got to empty the room by Saturday morning. Given I'm out tomorrow and Friday night I have to do as much as I can tonight and then up bright and early on Saturday to do the rest. The house is in a right state with everything not where it should be, so roll on Sunday evening when it's hopefully all back in place.

Morning everyone

Glorious out there, already been for a yomp down to the village and back.

Collected our blood test results, but no point opening them, not got a clue what I'd be looking at/for :oops:

Off later, to take our so-called repaired kettle back and we'll pop into Lidl's for more of that lovely wime

Then I have to sort out transfer of money - using a different method than I'm used to, so that should be fun 8-)

And another walk down to the village, to post cards and book a table for tonight. Due to our new found wealth, I've persuaded Grumpy that dinner out would be good. At least he'd get a decent dinner :lol:
