Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 23 Nov 2014, 07:33

Good morning. :D

Blue sky, sunny , a few fluffy things, a lovely breeze and warm.  8-)

Off for a yomp after my coffee and then back to write approximately 80 report cards. 8-)

I might as well make use of my quiet Sunday without Don and get on with them.

Jacob is making dinner for the 3 of us today - 'a chicken with spices' is what we've been promised.

Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning Ally.

Hope you enjoy your busy day and don't get writer's cramp.

I don't know what it's like out here, as I haven't looked yet !

Good morning to all my other friends here. Hope you all have a nice restful day.

Good evening all
I've already had 40winks on the couch. :D
Took the kids to the local Santa parade, it was a scorcher day, used sunscreen, but we all have a touch of sunburn. Looks like I forgot sunscreen on one part of my shoulder completely! Oops

I've spent a fair amount of time in the bathrooms this weekend, sanding, filling, sanding, sanding..... And now the upstairs window is ready to varnish in the morning, and hopefully the downstairs one can be done after the plasterer does his sanding.

The end is in sight.
Time for a port before bed
I'm knackered
Everything happens for a reason

Good morning all, it's pouring down here. Hopefully it'll end up being like yesterday as it started off wet then but brightened up late morning and ended up being a gorgeous day :D

Not sure what we're doing, John's cancelled his ride due to the rain. I might make a list to see who else I have to buy Christmas presents for, I know there's not many but it's just the awkward ones left so I need to find some inspiration.

Hopefully the sofa will be fully dry shortly, John cleaned it with the Vax yesterday and was a bit over enthusiastic with the water, thankfully we have the other living room to use

Have a good day all!

Morning :)
Wet. And more wet. Yesterday cleared up beautifully - not! We saw one little patch of almost blue, for about 5 minutes...we didn't bother going into town, I just popped out at about 4 when it was obvious it wasn't going to get any better.

80's a lot Ally, but it will be good to have them out of the way :)
Weka you'll be sanding in your sleep :D

Today we'll be doing a bit of shopping (food); took a big piece of brisket out of the freezer last night so will be slow-cooking that and need some veg - and maybe a bottle of beer to cook it in, haven't quite decided yet.
I did get some C-word food yesterday :D We like having something like mixed Chinese appetisers for our lunch so I got a box of mixed plus some duck spring rolls - sorted ;)
Hope you all manage to have a good day, don't think the rain's staying everywhere.

Morning everyone

Another grey start to the day, sun trying it's best but at least it's warm.

I've got a pile of ironing, Grumpy wanted to get some more outside painting done, but it's going to rain - probably for the rest of the week   - so he'll have to think of something else.

And we have the grand prix later, as long as we can get a signal

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing xx

Horrible wet day today. Definitely one for staying in. Roast pork later and maybe the boys will be round too to help eat it :D
Have a good dry day everyone, stay warm and snug xxx

Morning all :)

It's wet again here - we are going out, but only to Morrisons, so the weather doesn't matter really ;) Becks is about to leave for work, she's still really enjoying it 8-) Jo, how did T enjoy his first day? :)

Otherwise we have a quiet day lined up, and Inspector Montalbano on the iplayer 8-) so a nice lazy afternoon I hope 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone xxxxx

Morning all :D

Overcast here, not sure what the weather promises for the rest of the day. If it stays reasonably dry we're probably going to a local Christmas Fayre for a couple of hours, when we get ourselves organised that is  E's only just got out of the shower and we're still eating brekkie.

The viewings went much as expected yesterday and for different reasons none of the bungalows are suitable for us. The doer upper was just around the corner from one E really loved back in the summer, but it was far too close to the railway line, you could have a conversation with the passengers as they went by  The one that ticked most boxes was in the village, great location just 5mins or so walk from the high street, but in a nice quiet cul de sac. The sellers would be a nightmare though, they haven't really started looking yet and are undecided if they want to stay in this area or relocate to Wiltshire, they were also talking about downsizing, well blimey you really couldn't downsize any more :? Tbh much more hassle than the apartment sellers, at least they know what they want and where they want to be.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, looks like a nice day out there so I think we will go for a walk shortly. We are babysitting Kellie this afternoon from around 3pm as Miss Osc is taking Michael to a party which is about 40 minutes drive away and it's not worth her coming back then going out again to collect him, so Kellie will stay there, SIL has a meeting somewhere else around the same time.

Lamb chops for dinner with roast veggies. Head a bit all over the place at the moment, might post later elsewhere. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
