Morning all Surely I'm not the first one up and at 'em?

A bit of a dull day here, but I really need to take Jasper out for a good walk today. My dizziness is getting better, so I should be able to walk him without falling down
This afternoon I'm seeing my plastic surgeon. Just a routine check of my new finger joints, but I want to ask her to replace my right index finger joints. My index finger is pretty painful now, even doing simple tasks, so a couple of new joints will make things easier. Wish me luck

Feel back to normal this morning - well, a normal as I'll ever be - so will tackle the ironing and must get rid of all the fingerprints on my kitchen units.

Jen, how was the film yesterday? We've got most of the books and I really cannot see such a short person being Jack Reacher

Heard Conor leaving at the crack of dawn to go on his footy ticket mission.

So I got up, waited till it got light and went for a run.

And I'm now enjoying a cuppa.

Work 2-5 today.

Today's dress code for work might, just might, include a top sheet.

We loved the film Ton Like you I've read all the books so I wasn't sure if I'd like seing Tom Cruise play the part, he doesn't really match my mental image of Jack Reacher physically, but actually he's very believable and gets the right feel if that makes sense. Mr.J's never read the books so went with a completely open mind and really enjoyed it. And hey all else aside, it's Tom Cruise and for me nothing can ever be wrong with that

I'm off to visit mother this morning. Haven't been able to see her since Christmas day because of all my nasty germs, the last thing a CH wants to cope with. Of course I've stayed in touch by phone and sadly she's still going through a very difficult phase. I hate to say it, but I'm really not looking forward to this visit, seeing me (as is so often the case with the person closest) can act as a red rag Fingers crossed it goes reasonably well.

Update on the pupils.

Another 4 have come down with some sort of bug as has one of the teachers.

My boss has been ringing round the parents asking them to keep their children at home and has sent the morning children home.

It's only a small academy so whatever the bug is it seems to be rampaging as within the last 30 minutes I've succumbed to it.
