Due to be oven hot again today..par for the course for August.

I've been for a run and after my coffee will get ready for work.

A swim this afternoon when I get home.

Last day at work for me til 27 August. And I'm only working til 1.30.

and sap the cobwebs

Morning all We had rain in the night too, hopefully we're looking at a dry sunny day, now my garden is refreshed

Saundra aren't you tired from your long journey, I had the weirdest dream last night where you, me and Ria went to NZ to help Weka pick tomatoes and courgettes from her greenhouse I think I should lay off the cheese before bedtime

Becky goes to her dad's today, and Harry is coming back for a week, but not until this evening......Not sure what I'm up t today, some washing if it stays dry I think...

Nice and sunny at the moment, much nicer than all the rain we had overnight, here's hoping it lasts the whole day.

Started clearing out drawers in the bedrooms yesterday, don't think I'd win any prizes for speed, three got done so only another 23 to go

Popping over to visit mother this morning, fingers crossed she's up and able to go out for coffee and ice cream.

We also finally got proper rain, on and off through the night, the water butt's refilled
Lovely now, and the washing's on, so hope the forecast showers give us a miss

Hot Although nowhere near as hot as August normally is, but getting hotter each day.

Shopping for us later, then home for breakfast and then pootling.

We're also watering next doors cat - they seem to have gone back to Faro and left the puss-cat

You'll be glad to see H Kaz and hope B has a good time with her dad.

Enjoy the rain, over there we'll get ours in October
