Good morning! Stormaddegon has arrived with a vengeance, at the moment we have thunder, lightning and very, very heavy river down the streets bouncing off the pavement rain  Ally, tell Don to bring his wellies :P

Billy's got a vet appointment for a booster at 9.30 and we need to get him some food from Pets At Home. Shall probably visit my parents this afternoon and go to the gym tonight.

Have a good day all :D

Morning :)
It's got darker and darker in the last 20 minutes, now I can hear rumblings of thunder, getting closer...it's supposed to clear up later :D Oh - and just like that it's all arrived, hammering rain, quivering dog, the lot!

Bb has to work, plan A was for us to go to Lidl and the farmers market early but plan B will probably be better - hope the worst of it clears fairly early, then he'll go and work, and just Lidl later. They have their cured pork loin joints half price this weekend, it's too good an offer to miss ;)
Hope Don's flight's ok Ally :?
Hope there are gaps in the storms for everyone

Morning all :)

We had thunder in the early hours Jo, it must have gone your way after that :? I'm hoping that might have been 'it' for us, but not counting on it    I like P's at H, I like looking at the guineas and wabbits ;)

Ally I hope Don has a good trip :)

Di I hope you get your pork later, sounds a good deal 8-) 8-) Hope Minnie is ok xxxxx

Well we'll be out later whatever the weather, just adjusting the destination according to how wet it is LOL   I need another nice pot for my garden, I bought too many marigolds last week and need something to put them in ;) Otherwise we'll play the day by ear......

Have a good 'un, everyone :) xxx

It's stopped, maybe that was it? It sure was hefty, I love a storm :D
Surprisingly, the oh-so-delicate-looking cosmos I bought yesterday didn't even get bent, they must be a lot stronger than they look :)

The pork is ham Kaz, the same joints that M&S and W/rose sell for about £7-8, half price they're £1.99 each so we usually buy 3 or 4, depending on freezer and fridge space (being ham, they have quite a long date). We sometimes use them for an actual meal, but more often it's for all Bb's sarnies - huge bargain :D
He's just gone out with Minnie for a short walk and to get the paper, timed much better than our neighbour who went out with their dog about 5 minutes before stormageddon arrived :D

Oh very nice Di - despite me not eating it, ham or bacon joints go down a storm here as Mick and the kids love it hot or cold. I usually cook a biggish one at Christmas (sorry!!! :o ) for example :) Our storm was very brief and very loud too   Mind you our sky looks full of rain again so I don't think that was the last of it................. :?

Morning Ton :) Morning Vic :)

Good morning all.....

The whole sky is flat mushroom grey and it is drizzling non-stop; there is no wind and it is muggy. We have to be in for a thunderstom at some time.

A trip to the supermarket is looking like the safest option for the next few hours.

For those of you who have it, enjoy the sun.
