Mad!

In Ally's absence we have taken over the mad English abroad role
This morning I was quite bright and energetic so looked up the train times to Tavira. It's about a half hour walk from here to the station, taking it easy, so not too bad. Then Bb says ' you can walk it you know, there's a cycle track all the way to Tavira'.
So we did

Don't know how far it is, but it took us an hour and a half
We'd definitely earned our beer!
We had a nice little lunch, a wander, then headed to the station - where because it's Saturday, and I'd forgotten the piece of paper with the times on, we were an hour early
So we went to Lidl (next door) for a bit of shopping, then got the train and saw just how blinking far we'd walked
Off the train and a slow walk back, with a beer/cup of tea stop on the way
And I'm still awake!
Will sleep well tonight

Feet a bit sore, but no blisters
We both have nicely worn in walking sandals - plus I packed little travel sizes of various things including foot lotion
Tonight we 'just' walked into Cabanas and to the far end, back a bit to eat then back here
