Good morning Tuesday

Postby Diflower » 29 Apr 2014, 07:46

Morning all :)
Not such a bad start here, and yesterday we did get a few bright spells.

In and out quickly as I'm off for an appointment, back later :)
Found a dress at Sainsburys yesterday, tried it on as best I could (over t-shirt and jeggings) - and it's lovely but definitely a size too big, so have toi try and fit in another trip over there.
Hope it all went ok Osc (((x)))
Have a good day all

Morning all - a dry but greyish day in London today.

Hope Osc is feeling OK and had as comfy a night as possible.

Usual work day for me. I left the house this morning and all six cats were inand fast asleep; I could easily have stayed home and climbed back into bed myself - but sadly someone has to earn our keep and they're not offering

Have a fab day everyone x

Morning all :D

Hope everything went well for osc yesterday and she's comfy today xxx

Got the builder/decorator starting work on the house next week so we can get it shipshape ready to put on the market - just cosmetic work needed really as we haven't done anything to it at all since moving here almost 7 years ago. We're now on a clean/clear up mission. Yesterday was operation under stairs cupboard, it's huge so not too amazing how much was in there, you know the 'it might come in handy' syndrome  Meant another trip to the tip was needed, we've done about 4 over the past week or so. Later on today it's operation wardrobes, they're all absolutely chocker block so we'll need to be really ruthless. Have a feeling E will be better at it than me

Hope you all have a good day :D

We're downsizing, this is a big 4 bedroom house and now it's just the two of us really more than we need. Also, bearing E's hip problems in mind, we'd really prefer one floor so will be looking at bungalows.

Ideally we'd like to move somewhere coastal, not an easy decision as of course we've had to consider mother. She isn't aware of time now and although I'm in every week she didn't miss us at all while we were in Barbados for 9 weeks, so if our visits are reduced a bit it won't actually impact her wellbeing at all. We did wonder if we should try to move her too, but it really wouldn't be in her best interest, she's happy and settled where she is. While no CH will ever be perfect, it's about as good as it gets. After a good chat with the children and also my sister in Oz who all insisted we must do what's best for us in the long term, we've decided to go for it.

Think the builder/decorator will be with us for about a week and once everything's looking spick and span we'll get the house on the market............fingers crossed.
