Morning all :D

Things didn't go too well with mother's appointment yesterday, the GP hadn't been clear enough in her referral so the hospital hadn't booked her into an appropriate room. A biopsy is essential and because of the risk of bleeding they need to use a machine, there's only one and it was already in use elsewhere  In fairness it really wasn't their fault, they were extremely apologetic and pulled out all the stops to get her back in this morning. I'm just hoping the night staff at the home aren't struggling to get her up, clean and dressed, in time. Chris, mother's keyworker, is going in extra early at 8am and the taxi is booked for 8.15, I'll meet them both at the hospital. The appointment isn't until 9.20 but the rush hour can be horrendous here, hence all the rush. It was all a bit ghastly yesterday and I know today will be worse :(

After I've dropped them both back at the CH I'll be hotfooting it back here to pick up E so we can get on the road to Kent. We're looking after the boys for 3 days so won't be back until late Friday. I'll have my tablet so will try to stay in touch.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Oh (((((Jen))))) Sending thoughts and love for you and your mum, and safe trip later xxxxxxx

Ally enjoy your day with your mum and dad :D

Weird weather this morning, grey but bright :? I have food shopping to do, Becky is dropping her CV around various places in town and The Quays looking for weekend/holiday work, so we're going into town together later - I can buy B lunch and she can help me carry the shopping home ;) :)

I bought some nice plants yesterday for the garden, including a lovely honeysuckle to augment/replace the clematis that I over pruned (murdered :?  ) but there wasn't room in D's small car for the potting compost I also need, so they will have to wait until Mick can pop to B&Q and get us some ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :)
Lovely and bright here, Minnie's 2 towels and old bed are in the washing machine :D

Oh Jen what a shame, do hope it goes ok today (((x)))
We had an early busy start too, Bb had to get the car in for 8.30 for its service and Mot, they'll no doubt be ringing me later explaining why it's going to cost a squillion  :P
Having got him and his packed lunch packed off Minnie and I have been out for her little stroll, and now I get to sit down with a coffee :)

The lady came to meet Minnie yesterday and of course thought she was gorgeous, and her dog and Minnie got on fine. He's a Tibetan terrier and looks just like his name, Scamp :D
I now need to re-check exact dates/length of stay with the dog lady, and double-check the flight times/days, etc.
We've been dithering and changing our minds so much (well me really, Bb is happy to go wherever I want!) as to which country we go to, now we know his eye is fine, that in the end we've literally tossed a coin
Result to be announced later, in case the flights etc don't tie up ;)

Hope you all have a good day
Di

Good morning, all.

Hope things go OK for your mother, Jen. It must be very worrying for you.

Don't worry about your clematis, Kaz. It will probable survive and flourish, and will go well with the honeysuckle.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.

Morning everyone

It's a lovely hot sunny morning here too :D :D

Blummin' heck Jen, such a pain in the bum for you all, especially you and your mum. Hope it all goes smoothly this morning. And have a safe journey too xx and a lovely few days being worn out ;)

Houseworkery stuff for me, probably need to water the garden again.

And then a couple of phone calls to sort out a couple more viewings next week :D

Have a good day everyone, hope the weather improves x

Di that's great, about the dog-sitter lady and the holiday 8-) :D

Loz I hope she does too, she has big plans for work and travel experience next year - Namibia to work with big cats - and she will have to fund it herself as we can't this time

Morning Ton :)

Aggers that is what my MIL said so hopefully you are both correct :) 8-) xx
