Message from Cal

[Rodo]

I am posting on Cal's behalf because she still feels unable to cope with posting much at present.

On Monday she saw the epilepsy nurse who went through the scans and nothing untoward was found. In her view it was a classic one off seizure, due for the most part to the stress Cal has gone through in the last two years through major family problems; this on top of her ongoing stomach problems. No meds were given, but she was advised to try to be more laid back and must go for counselling.

Today she had a home visit from a lovely handsome young doctor who appeared to know his stuff!" He appeared to have cheered her up no end as well!! He said the current problem was all to do with her damaged immune system, and the way the stomach lining can't heal itself. She is now back on the starchy, high carb, no fat diet and hoping that this will do the trick.

She thanks you all so very much for your kind concern. She said it was so comforting to know that you were all thinking of her and wishing her well. She hopes to be back and posting here very soon.

No wonder Cal has been so poorly, with everything she has been through I'm so glad she has a lovely doctor who seems to be on the ball xxx
