I decided to go for a run and as I was on the way home I noticed the fruit shop in town had a fantastic display of strawberries outside.

I stopped to have a look and the owner (who always waves as I zoom past most days

) came out to talk to me.

I said how lush the strawberries looked but as I didn't have any money on me I'd come back later to buy some.

No problema senora - pick what you want, give me your address and I'll drop them in to you when I close the shop later for siesta.

So I did!

Wasn't that nice of him.

Seriously though that was very kind of him 8-)

I had a nice gesture today too, although not from a fella - the girl in Coffee#1 gave me a free pot of decaf tea as they'd run out of the loose leafed breakfast tea I like!! I was quite happy to pay for decaf (I drink decaf tea at home all the time) but she insisted it was a freebie 8-)
