Dinner tonight?

Postby Kaz » 16 Jan 2014, 17:03

I was going to make a beef casserole - not in the slow cooker, but trying out my new pyrex casserole dish - but whilst in Sainsbury's this afternoon I spotted some marked down sirloin steak, so bought that to use tonight. The casserole can wait until tomorrow ;)

I have some spinach leaf salad and am doing jacket spuds and mushrooms to go with it. Can't wait, we don't often have steak so it will be a treat :D

Girls are having dinner at my mums. I have just had a bowl of my spicy tomato and squash soup.

I'm off to Pilates so will have an omelette when I get home.

M can sort himself out!

Haven't quite decided. Don't think I cba with the veggie moussaka mentioned earlier, but may yet change my mind...or maybe a sort of bubble & squeak bake if I can be bothered to work out the cals...or frittata or omelettes :D

Yummy. Fish fingers in a nice crispy cob with tartare sauce.

Or in a sandwich with mashed potat, peas and tomato sauce.

It sounded fine till you added the potato Debih

We had none of the above :D
I fancied beans on toast but we don't have any bread. Then I remembered an unopened pack of crumpets in the freezer :)
So it was egg on beans on crumpet, and it was yummy :D
