Oh, ferlippin' 'eck

Good News? or Bad News?

Our neighbour, whoi is also selling her house, is dropping her price to 160,000

Poor lady is desperate, and is going with another 4 or 5 agents to try and sell as quickly as possible.

So that would make 10 different agents, they all want 5%, as she's not exclusive, and she's also going to have to pay the government a something or other tax, as she's not a resident.

I reckon she'll let it go for about 150,000   :o

They bought it, 9 years ago, for 180.00 and have spent at least 30,000, doing things to it.

There is not a hope in wotsits that we would sell for that price.

But if some-one wants to offer us 160,000, I think the answer, well I know the answer  would be a boot up the bum, out of the door

But look on the bright side - if hers goes, there is one less on the market

The repossession (bank sale) round the corner went for 200,000 last month.

Two down, two to go................

It must be horrible Ton, the fact that you are not in control of things, it's up to the market.

(((Ton))) all you can do is keep on keeping on, and hope.

Ta muchly xxxx

We bought for 170,000, 10 years ago. The exchange rate was about 1.5  so we've made paper money at least.

We just want a different adventure, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't

Well the good news is that she's desperate, and you're not.
And if/once she's sold, then the price won't matter, so you'll get any buyer who wants your area :)
