what a carryon

Postby pollR78 » 01 Nov 2013, 16:27

Oh what a few days I have had :(

Last month I was taxed at emergency tax code - thought I had it sorted to be taxed the same again at the end of October - I have spent three days phoning tax and payroll and think/hope it is sorted. They have taken so much off me and im seriously worrying about how I can get through the month, really not a good time with December only a next month :(

So, tonight and tomorrow I am working nightshift on the bank, to get some extra cash in, am paid weekly so either next Friday or the Friday after I will get this money which will help.

:(

I am tired and am looking forward to getting into bed tomorrow morning lol!

Emergency tax is such a pain, and it seems to take superhuman effort to get them to sort it out! I can remember having similar problems in the past

I do hope they sort it for you soon - as you say this is not the best time of year to be short of cash - and I hope you won't be too tired from the extra work :(

Sending hugs (((((((((((P))))))))))) xx

thanks Kaz - the hugs are much needed :( I have shed a few tears over this :(

I know, its been unbelievable - the tax people have been great, but major probs with payroll, trying to tell me they couldnt adjust it themselves when she done it this morning after receiving a fax

Thought I was only going to get a few hours in the morning then take Amy to swimming but mum said she will take her for me and she is collecting Amy from Girls Brigade tonight so she wont miss it, means I can sleep longer tomorrow, phew!

Why is it that when we owe them they act like greased lightning and are not to gentle with their threats, but when they owe us...........? :x :x :x

It's that "banging your head against a stone wall" feeling that is soooo frustrating - hope it is sorted soon for you, Poll, and won't you get a rebate? Maybe that will come through quickly.

yep thats it Osc, I honestly felt like that!!

They told me last month I wouldn't get the money until April but payroll told me today I should get it with next wage - at end of November, I really hope I do as its nearly £400!

Lets hope tonights shift goes fast and the patients all sleep!

thanks for the hugs, I need them :)
