Another day in the 30's forecast..it's like June here.

Playing badminton this morning then over to have lunch with mum and dad.

Work at 4.30.

I need to do a food shop today, and some ironing, so nothing exciting happening here Not until Saturday anyway

Still quite warm here, but dark and dull and likely to be wet as well.

Big adventure for Bb today - he's going to come to the park with Minnie and I
The fields would be too rough, he can't see out of the bottom half of his eye yet - and until yesterday Minnie hadn't been to the park for a long time.

She's been doing so well, I wanted to try it because she's then off the lead the whole time (I drove to the park) so it's easier on my arms. We'd stopped taking her partly because she didn't have the energy but also she didn't like it, would get very anxious as soon as she saw another dog or person.
Her legs were wobbly for a long time, we think she knew she couldn't play with other dogs or run around with them - and couldn't get away if she needed to.
Anyway, she was fine, and had a lovely time

Other than that - stewing steak thawed for beef & ale casserole in the slow cooker later

Morning all.

I'm off to work shortly but the girls are still in bed - school is closed today as they are on strike.

I'm only working until 12pm but have some governor stuff to do this afternoon - still having problems with the damned uniform and the one family. They are going out of their way to send the child in the most outrageous clothing. Its ridiculous the amount of time being spent on it by the staff but parents and children are starting to comment about why do they have to wear it when he doesn't so the staff have to be seen to be doing something about it.

Then home to read a mountain of panel papers ready for Thursday.

Mick is away tonight so its just us girlies later on.

We will be having a quiet day today. I have a few little jobs that need doing. The weather forecast isn't too good, anyway.

This really is a problem, Debih. I've given it a lot of thought but can think of no solution that would not have undesirable consequences on the child.
Some people don't make very good parents, do they?
