That sounds nice Saundra, and enjoy the grandchildren's visit :D :D :D

We have both Harry and Becks here, so it's a full house :D :D Out for some lunch later, and H wants to watch a match on BT Sport - and play his new FIFA 14 game

Becky is still asleep

It's dull here but set to brighten up later, like it has been doing for most of the week 8-)

Have a smashing Saturday everyone :) :) :) xxxx

Morning both, morning all :)
Dark and wet here, I'm having a second coffee and telling Minnie it might clear up soon ;)

Lucky you Saundra to have sunshine, your day sounds lovely, enjoy your harbour cuppa and Kaz enjoy your nice houseful :D
Planning on doing very little today - if it does clear up might go into town for a wander round the market.
Hope everyone has a good day

morning all,

nice and sunny here, forecast looks ok so am about to hang my first load of washing out :)

Amy has swimming lessons as usual and then she has a 'teddy bears picnic' to attend at a local community centre, its in memory of a wee girl who joined her class last year but sadly died :( she had rheumatoid arthritis and became very unwell, so will be a sad day but the children will have fun im sure.

I have to start getting my bedroom organised, mum is coming over tomorrow to help me move things as I have my carpet ready to go down :)

Hope you all have a good day!

Morning everyone

Various grey to black clouds this morning, with the occasional burst of sunshine. Think we'll wait until Monday to decide whether to go away or not.

Houseworkery stuff for me and I really should do that ironing

Enjoy your day everyone xx

Morning all. Peace at last!!!

L had a friend stay over last night - a new friend from secondary school. She is lovely. We went off to the village night and then onto the hotel/pub for the bbq and didn't get home until about 10.30pm. They decided they wanted to sleep in the lounge (which was good as it meant we were two floors up and couldn't hear them chattering) so I dragged the big blow up bed out (yes, that one!!) and they were fine.

They have been like little whirlwinds this morning and have now disappeared off out in the village to the Steampunk Fair.

S stayed at her friends house and I have to pick her up in a couple of hours, drop L's friends off and then we are off riding.

Then home to supervise S making dinner - she wants to make a minced beef plate pie, before a soak in the bath with my book, dinner and a lazy evening in front of the tv.

Mick has disappeared out to get a quote for fitting windows in his van and then has to go fetch some grate blackener as we have received a bid on the fireplace (only at £75 so far but we have 46 watchers now) and I just want to clean it up a little - or rather I want him to clean it up a little.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning all - it's dull enough here but dry and not cold. I'm very very busy trying to get packing done, hair washed, nails done, legs defuzzed, I could have done without 25 minutes call waiting with the credit card company to tell them we are going away, and I had to hang up in the end. Had a great time at the Fitsteps master class last night, but my legs are a teeny bit sore today ;) If you see it in your area, give it a go, it's fun.

Mr. Osc has declared that the holiday has officially started so no cooking allowed, and we are going out for lunch later on. The plan is to watch Strictly this evening, then off to bed as we have to be up at 3.30am as the taxi is coming at 4.30am - *yawns at the thought*. I may not get back on here much for the rest of the day, so cheerio and toodle pip, see you in a week or so!!
