Give me words of encouragement to keep me strong............a student I met on a placement in 1st year has been sending me some messages - he is in the cohort 6months behind me so finishes at xmas. He has struggled with a lot of the theory work and is currently doing the last essay.

I struggled with this essay but passed - just!!

Anyway, he has to hand in a draft tomorrow and is struggling and asked me to send him a copy of mine - said he promised he wouldnt plagiarise but I don't feel comfortable sending my work to someone - so have told him that I scraped a pass and don't think my work would help in any way, it would just confuse him.

Why do I feel bad!!!!

He has sent another message saying oh if you take pity you have my email address with a sad face - noooooooooooooo!

Help me be strong and tell me I am doing the right thing!

Imagine if he did copy it and then I could get in trouble as he would be plagiarising my work - which I gave him!

Stay strong and don't send it to him. The temptation to copy bits of yours, especially as he's struggling, would be too much for him I'm sure.

Thank you, that's what I needed to hear! I was going to phone my mum but she won't be in yet!!

Im too nice but I know when something isn't right, and this just does not sit right with me. He will just have to try like I did!

Poll, I worked with student nurses for quite a few years, know where you're coming from but don't you dare send him anything.

He has to do it on his own - if he fails, well tough, that's his problem, not yours.

You just relax and start thinking of all that sunshine

Yep I am definitely not sending him anything. I send my friend from uni a message and she said the same, my mind is made up. We came to the conclusion it is a bit cheeky him asking, I would never have done that!
