Morning all. Scorchio already here.

I'm on a training course all day today with the head all to do with single status matching and slotting. Yawn.

This evening I am going to the allotment to borrow someone's hose pipe to attach to someone elses hosepipe to give our plot a good water and fill up the water butts. I am dreading it already as I know it will be hot hot hot!

Morning all - another scorchio day in prospect :D :D :D I'm loving it, but know it doesn't suit everyone so (((((hugs)))) if you're suffering in it xxx

I need to get some food shopping, but instead of trundling it home will time it so I'm finished during Mick's lunchbreak so he can pick me up, or any frozen will just melt   Otherwise it would have to wait until tonight so we can go in the car........

Have a lovely day everyone, be careful in this heat 8-) xxxxx

Morning everyone

Another glorious morning 8-)

And another day of doing nowt, I think. Can't really be bothered  But working tomorrow, so I need all the rest

Really should get the ironing done, really should e-mail the hospital about that bill, really should do some dusting, but I think I'll sit in the shade and read.

Enjoy the sunshine, if you can and have a good day xx

Good morning all.

 Another scorcher

Just been a walk in the park with my four legged friend, keeping in the shade where possible. I think I enjoyed it more than the poor dog. He just doesn't like this hot weather and, like me, he's now getting on a bit. He's flat out now by the open door. I might be flat out on the settee soon.

Hope you are all coping with things, not over-doing it, and having plenty of non-caffeine, non-alcoholic drinks.

Be good - and not too much of the :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick:

Good Morning

Another hot one here as well, still feel like I'm on holidays in shorts and t shirts :)

Eldest is coming to visit with grandson, and in the meantime I am off to pick up cot I got for £40 in a s/hand shop.

Ton, I don't know how you work in this heat, and Ally how you run in it is beyond me, took the dog out this morning and had to come home and shower.

Take care all,

Sue xx

Good morning all, scorchio here too and I don't think I have ever been able to say that before  Michael was here a bit earlier today as his Mamma had an early appointment. So far he has got Mr Osc to turn on the tv to watch the British Open golf, and has been out in the garden playing golf, so I reckon it is going to be a very golf-oriented day   I really must run a duster around the house - I would have had ironing to do, but actually the shirts I had out on the line actually self-ironed in the heat and went straight onto hangers, now that was a treat! Yesterday we went for a potter around a shopping centre before going dancing, and I got a nice dress in M&S (although horrifingly, they already had their autumn stock in and very little summer stuff at all, I only found this on a very small reduced rail). This is the dress but mine is a mix of orange and other colours.

Got it for €35 so it would have been rude to leave it there ;) Mr. Osc got a nice Jeff Banks shirt in Debenhams, reduced to €25, and I had € on my Debs card, so that was nice. Enjoy your day everyone, long may this lovely weather last.
