Good morning Monday

Postby debih » 17 Jun 2013, 07:09

Morning all. Dull here this morning but a good day forecast.

Work for me until lunchtime and then home to bake. I haven't baked for ages so am really looking forward to it! I have a governors meeting this evening and for some reason it is the chairs job to make sure there is juice and biscuits (obviously a tradition set up by some long gone chair) so for a change tonight I thought I would make sausage rolls and cheese nibbles.

L is very excited today as she is going up to look around the secondary school this afternoon. There are only 3 of them going up from her primary school this time (there are actually 10 in Yr 6 but the other 7 are going to a different primary. The one L is going to is the feeder school which the majority usually go to but this time most of them have siblings who are already at the other school so are going there). I am picking the 3 of them up at 12pm to drop them off up there. They get to have their lunch there and are shown around. I think they do a couple of assessments too. Then they are walking home with their siblings.

Day 1 of strike is very uneventful. No one has put anything in the dishwasher yet or noticed that the clean pots haven't been taken out. S has left her pj's draped across her floor and L hasn't bothered to make her bed for some reason this morning. I haven't ventured as far up as our bedroom yet.

Morning All,

Been raining here since I got up, in work and had my cuppa so ready to face the day.

Was hoping to see Airforce One coming in, but the cloud was so low could see nothing around the airport :(

Have a good day all, dont know everyne yet, but good wishes to all who are poorly.

Morning :)
Bit dull here but we didn't get any rain yesterday after all. Big bonus as it meant we could barbecue the bit of lamb shoulder I'd thawed, it was gorgeous :D
Minnie's much the same, she's had her anti-sickness o will be having a little bit of fish and rice in a few minutes.
Lots of h-word for me today, haven't done any much since starting That Cake :D

Debih funnily enough I noticed youngest has left his bed in a mess; he'll be surprised when he next comes and finds it like that

Ooh Sue what a lovely picture :)
Enjoy Cheltenham Kaz
Have a good day all,
Di
