Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but frosty again. 17C later. Should be warming up from tomorrow - thank heavens :D

Off to Ourique this morning, see Mario about sorting out the Honda for it's MOT and then popping into Aldi, as they have pork cheeks on sale today and we love pork cheeks

Pit stop for coffee, breakfast, then I really mean to do the ironing

Meeting friends down at the bar and I can get our cat box back, as I lent it out earlier in the week.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.
Only 11C when I got up. Grey skies but no rain. Not going out today.

I am doing the ironing. It has dried overnight. Will then just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny and breezy and the outside temperature is 5 degrees. We had a nice evening of dancing last night, met someone I knew almost 20 years ago in the dance world. I knew she looked familiar but had to be told who she was! So had a nice chat with her. Lazy day today (no change there!) I’ll have my shower shortly and see what I fancy doing after that. Might work on my new jigsaw, the one I got for Christmas which is a photo of the two of us. Plenty of colour in it which makes it easier, plus it is 500 pieces, a nice change from the 1000 piece ones I have been doing this year. I’m also reading a good book, so that might make an appearance. Edward will be watching sport, I’m sure.

Morning all, it’s a dull one here.

Just me and John today, Joe’s at Jade’s house until tomorrow morning. John’s done Parkrun and is now watching TV. I’ve cleaned the bathrooms, I’m now looking for a new shower drain cover for Joe’s shower as the seal has broken on it.
Ikea tonight, we need some artificial flowers to take down to Norwich next weekend to put on John’s parents’ grave and they usually have some lovely ones there.

Osc, I’ve just bought a 2000 piece puzzle, it was only £9 from Amazon so it seemed silly not to buy it at that price. I’ve never done anything bigger than a 1000 piece one before though.

Have a good day all :D

Good afternoon.
Chilly here but we have a bit of sun.
Family news is that MrsC's Uncle Jimmy has been discharged from hospital into a half way house care home.
First day there they give him a bath and find out that he's got scabies. He's been in Dewsbury hospital for weeks so that's the only place that he can have caught it. It's very infectious so the care home have him isolated in his own room. I do hope the hospital didn't discharge him knowing that he had it, to get him out of the hospital asap.
In happier family news Eliza has described a little boy at her school as her "arch nemesis".
She's not seven until April! I suppose we shouldn't be surprised though. When she was five we got a new toilet seat and MrsC asked Eliza's opinion of it.
She regarded MrsC pityingly and said "It's rather old fashioned, Grandma"!
Kids eh.
Have a nice day everyone.

Oh goodness Crommers, that’s awful! Surely it should’ve been noticed by the hospital when he was bathed?

LOL at Eliza, sounds like you’ve got a right little character there

You would think so Jo. They were very short staffed though, so maybe he wasn't getting looked after as well as he should have been.
And yes, she is a little character!
