That was lovely

Postby tonicha » 19 May 2013, 19:30

today - berlinkin' hard work for us both, though, cleaning Bente's 3 bed, 3 bathroomed quinta. Lots of window cleaning, for Grumpy  lots of sticky fingers on glass, mirrors, pictures, furniture

But when we'd finished, she gave us 3 house plants - she's going back ii Norway, so didn't want them to die (or just throw them away, she said  :o ) and a bottle of wine, as it is Sunday, plus a lot more dosh than we expected) lunch, coffee, wine (no, I was good, stuck to water  )

Now quietly shattered......

Hard work though Kaz - she thinks that if she leaves things dirty, I'll be happier

I cannot tell you the state of the oven or hob

And to say, just throw away those plants if you don't want them

Why the blummin' heck buy them in the first place?????

They are lovely, I'll have to look them up, as I really don't know how to look after them.

But she also gave us shed loads more work - well, Grumpy. I can sit by the pool  Or sit in it

Nice to know she appreciates you though :)
I guess with the plants, if you buy fresh flowers it's at least as much if not more, and they get thrown away :|
Can kind of understand the oven, but I couldn't live with or cook on a dirty hob :?
Still, all done now - till next time :)

Di I'm the same, I can turn a blind eye to the oven, but my hob gets wiped every time I use it, so sparkles
