Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy again, but still warm.

Washing to be done this morning, then I'm off out. Going to see Jan and see if, between us, we can sort something out about the hospital for me. Then into Ourique, for petrol and a few other bits and back to see Jacqui, see how she's getting on.

Our normal petrol station is having work done and all the pumps were taped off yesterday

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody elsewho is up.

It is 16C and blue sky everywhere. Am doing ironing today. I did the washing yesterday and it has dried overnight.

Went to Preston yesterday. While I had a coffee in M & S I chatted to a lady who is 91 and used to live in Wigan.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello all and good morning

Ally, enjoy the day and then the evening out with Connor
Busy day for you Jan, hope Jacqui is doing as well as can be, and hope you manage to sort your hospital thing.
Cruiser, you too have a lovely day pootling about

Again apologies for the radio silence from me - the past few weeks at work have just been crazy mad. The sale of the company officially went through on Monday 30th September and there was just so much to be done in the run up to that day. I'm now going to have a very busy October clearing out the office so we can hand the space back to the landlord. At the moment I'm emptying filing cabinets and let me tell you - from an admin point of view Covid was a game changer; we hardly have anything in paper form post March 2020; everyone got so used to scanning and emailing vs printing / posting but the amount of paper I'm now putting into confidential recycling bins from pre-Covid is scary, it seems every little piece of paper was saved and filed! If I never ever ever see another hanging / suspension file in my life; I won't complain. We must have 100's that most likely will be sent off for recycling because no-one wants them anymore.

I have a work from home day today because I need to pick up Amelia from college this afternoon, but back in the office tomorrow.

I hope everyone is keeping well? xxx

Morning all, it’s mostly sunny here. We decided not to go to dance practice this morning so Edward has gone to play golf and I will do the packing. We have availed of the Aer Lingus system whereby you can check in a 10kg bag for free, so my challenge will be to keep each bag under that. When you book this train trip, they advise having small easily carried luggage. I’ll pack everything this morning, even the toilet bags, and do a trial weighing. Kellie will be here this afternoon as per usual Thursday. I need to book the taxi for tomorrow morning, our flight to London is 9.45am then that will be everything crossed off the list.

good morning all.
Lots of blue sky here.
Ria, that sounds like a lot of work.
MrsC's Uncle Jim is coming out of hospital today. I'll give it two months tops before he's back in.
We have Eliza later on; she is on a school trip to Conisbrough Castle today.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

Ally enjoy your swim.
Jan hope you can get the hospital travel sorted.
Cruiser you'll have to explain what 'ironing' is
Ria that's a lot of sorting :o
Kaz, it's lovely for you to have Becky home again.
Osc, blimey 10kg of luggage, I can hear Ed saying so that's your make up and toiletries, now what do we do about clothes
Crommers I hope Uncle Jim copes better than expected.

We've had a nice lie in, bliss. We did think about going out for a walk, but the garden is in desperate need of a good tidy up. It's been too wet lately, so we'll probably take advantage of the nice weather this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, we also have sun!

Beds have been changed and two loads of washing have been done and are out on the line.
I’ve also had to get the screwdriver out and fix a drawer in my wardrobe. I removed it yesterday to reach something which had fallen down the back and someone managed to get it stuck on the runners when I slid it back in, so I’ve had to remove the runners to get it out and then fix them back in again. Still puzzling over how it got stuck.

Osc, I’m a firm believer in just taking carry on luggage if I can (mainly because I can’t be doing with the faff of waiting at the luggage carousel eating into holiday time!) so I’m good at taking just the essentials, and I figure that if I’ve forgotten something then there are shops! Joe was packing for his weekend in Prague last week and was telling me that if he’d forgotten something then “there’re shops” and shrugged. Finally he’s taken on board something I’ve said

Have a good day all :D
