It was 15C when I got and went for the paper. Very light rain with grey clouds so we may have some more during the day.

Will finish the ironing this morning, Then some housework. Have a parcel tp wrapas i want to send something to my grand-daughter. It is not a Christmas present so no rush to get

Morning everyone

Just clouded over  was sunny earlier. No frost this morning, but still cold.

Puss cat went out at 6.30 this morning and that was cold then, slightly warmer now.

We're out to lunch too :Hi: Only the Palma, they do a very good choice of prato da dia and we have bread, olives, wine, main course and coffee for 25€ Then head back to the bar for another half litre of wine for 1.50€

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here and feels damp but not too cold. I have a list, as usual, it’s a list for the week rather than the day. It includes going to the post office to take out money, get my prescriptions, assess presents for wrapping, change the bedclothes on the spare bed. Already had a couple of phone calls, one from my friend L who is home from Boston, so we arranged to meet up on St Stephen’s Day. Then Miss Osc rang on her way to somewhere - Kellie has gone to school but has a sore throat so she wanted to know if we were around in case Kellie needed collecting from school. We are both here today, if I am out Edward is here. He is preparing to make a Christmas cake, he always makes a small light one. I have a hair appointment at 12.30, cut and colour to make me beautiful for Santa :x

Good morning all, it’s grey and raining on and off.

Bill had his early walk and I’ve been doing some jobs since. Off to the Odeon tonight to see Wonka, and calling in to drop presents off at my friend Al’s house on the way.

Have a good day all :D

Good morning.
Dull and grey here as usual and none too warm.
MrsC and I are going out for an Italian meal at 12.30.
We still have a big list of stuff we need for Christmas and will go this evening to get some, when hopefully the supermarket won't be too manic.
Social services have been in touch asking about MrsC's Uncle Jim's finances; and what a tangled web that is.

Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :)

Dry, but very cold brrrr

Sounds like you're in for a fun day Ally.
Don't overdo the ironing and housework Cruiser.
Lunch sounds nice Jan.
A busy day for you Osc.
Enjoy Wonka this evening Jo.
Have a nice lunch Crommers, good luck with the Christmas shopping.

Ed's doing the bed change today so he's got sheets in the wash, means he has less to do on Friday. Must admit not being able to help is very frustrating!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Have been into town with Becky. Firstly to Proskin, a private clinic by the hospital, as B was getting a mole removed. The GP had said it was definitely benign, so they wouldn't remove it, but as it's right on her collarbone she's opted to get it removed rather than risk exposing it to Australian sunshine. Then we went for breakfast, and B went to the bank and EE to let them know she's leaving the country.

Got a call from D, who's not feeling well, so B and I walked up there from town, and Mick drove up to see how she was. Long story short, she has a pain in her ribs on one side, but won't call the doctor :? She was due to go to her lung patient exercise class, and had promised to take her home-baked sausage rolls for their Christmas party, so Mick ran them up there. Mick's youngest brother and his wife are coming up tomorrow, just for the day, and I offered to do some hoovering etc but she turned me down - I do worry about her, it's a fine line between independence and stubbornness :o

I need to make some of my mincemeat and apple filo pastry parcels for the SW party on Friday morning. Sainsbury's didn't have mincemeat or icing sugar (the week before Christmas! ) so Mick nipped me up to Tesco who had loads :D I'll be making them tonight.

Love to all xxxx
