Good morning.

Another gorgeous day and forecast 24°. 8-)

Off for a walk. The trainers are back on after what can only be described as a sheer indulgent fortnight in the UK.

Back home to chill out and read before Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Foggy again  At least it soon disappears  and then we-ll have another lovely warm day.

Cleaning this morning and curry making. I really couldn't be bothered with anything yesterday, so the ironing will be done tomorrow.

Off out to a friends later, for fish and chips :Hi: It's an early one, as the footie is on later

Good morning everybody.

It is only 11C here. Some blue sky showing but lots of grey clouds about so we may have some rain.
Am waiting for the engineer to come to fix the CH boiler. should be her soon as I am his first call.
I am sat her with a thick wooly jumper and a coat on to keep warm. Whwn the engineer has finished, I will go out. It will be warm on the bus.

After Christmaswill have the gas fires re-connected so I can have heat if the boiler stops working again.

Have a good day everybody.

Can now wash up before i go out.

Hope to miss the rain as there have been a few drops.

Good morning and happy Friday all

Cruiser, so glad the engineer was on time and it was a simple fix - yay!
Ally, enjoy the walk and the Friday beer and tapas
Jan, fingers crossed the mist goes away soon - enjoy your dinner out later on. Oh and don't overdo the housework ;-)

Friday - wfh day for me. Got up really late given it's a work day  So the usual day of work and pootle. Besides some cleaning, I need to head to Sainbury's for the usual chicken veg and cat food and some bits for myself. Then over to Wildlife Aid to drop off a little hedgehog that my neighbour found - too small to hibernate so needs to go somewhere where it can be kept warm and awake for the winter. Nothing else exciting happening here

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s a bright sunny one here. Off to mobility class in a while. Around lunchtime we’ll pop out to visit Edward’s sister and give her a wedding present for her son whose wedding is three weeks from today. Back home to wait for Tesco delivery, then out dancing this evening. Edward is not playing golf as his friend had to go somewhere, I think he plans to put his mincemeat into jars as it has been marinading nicely for 10 days.

Morning all, it’s sunny and cold.

Just waiting for the Tesco delivery, the app tells me that we’re next. A load of washing is on the line so that’ll be ready to iron later.

Joe’s working from home today, he’s been listening out for DHL to pick up some equipment he’s calibrated that needs delivering to a factory in Lancashire. I thought it was going to be something huge taking over the hall but it was small and in one of those hard protective cases. It’s saved him having to go into the office and wait for it to be picked up from there anyway, especially as he has a dentist appointment this afternoon, plus I’ve seen what he does at work now

John’s out with some former colleagues for a Chinese tonight, he doesn’t think he’ll be back late though. He’s taken the cake I baked for Kenny.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

I suggested Ed put a casserole in the slow cooker for dinner this evening. He's got enough to do with the weekly wash and bed change. Also expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Still waiting for the sun to come out  it's just grey and meh.

Second load of wood delivered this morning and seems to be the only thing that hasn't gone up in the last year

Not going out tonight, Pingo didn't have the right fish  but I've got some frozen battered cod in the freezer, so we'll have that here :D

Jen, do you not have someone that can come help you and Ed with these heavier / larger tasks?
