Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 11 Oct 2023, 06:15

Good morning.

Watching a beautiful sunrise as I type and another hot day forecast. 8-)

A swim soon then get ready to go to plaza Mayor to C&A with Don as he wants a couple of t shirts. :D
No doubt I'll get something as I don't think I've ever gone there and not bought anything.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Happy birthday to Kellie Osc. xx

Good morning all :)

Ally, a trip to C&A :D I think I spent half of my early teens in the one in Hounslow :D  xx

Happy birthday, Kellie :D xx

It's going to be a wet day here. Meeting my friend J in town for a cuppa at 10.30. Expecting to hear sad news from Em today, after our conversation last night :(

Love to all xxx

Hello and good morning you two and everyone

Enjoy the day Ally - I'd love to have C&A back here; so many shops that had affordable quality clothing have closed / are closing.
Kaz, enjoy that cuppa later on and sorry to read about the call you're expecting - never easy :(

Another late start office day for me.... done the Sainsbury's shop this morning, just checked emails and will deal with a few things and then leave home at 9.30.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Think I'd call it "refreshing" outside   but it's warming up already and another mid 30's day 8-) Autumn temperatures start next week

Happy Birthday to Kellie :Hi: :Hi:

Sorry to hear about Em's mum Kaz xx Never easy.

Off to Ourique once Grumpy gets up. Just going to the normal supermarkets, chemist and Chinese. I really want to finish off the sign and get it in the garden.

Will have to go and get diesel for the posh car later, as we're heading out early tomorrow - if some-one can stir himself again   so it will be a pit-stop in the bar. All sorts of stuff going on there, new tables and chairs in the bar (which are far too big and clumsy, but very comfy), they're having a new kitchen and bathroom, which should be finished today, so Odete super excited :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good mornng everybody.

It is raining. I have been to give a bllod sample. You now book a slot. Mine was for 7.40 a.m. It is a very good sysytem as the waiting room is never full.

Am now going to have my breakfastand read the paper. If it stops raining may go to town. Want to check on my phone contract which is due for renewal in December.

Ally, I can remember C & As. The building where the local one used to be is now Primark and Macdonalds. I have got some T-shirts from Asda. Reasonable quality
and cheap.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all.
I have dropped MrsC off at the railway station; she is going to York to meet her friends from her college days to be ladies that lunch. The traffic on the roads seemed to be quieter than it was when I was working, and I finished nearly thirteen years since.
Happy birthday to Kellie!
We used to have a C & A, it was a good store.
Off for a paper now the school run traffic will have dies down a bit.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s wet and miserable here and just to add to the misery, we have a power cut, power not due to be restored until about 12.45  We are due to get our jabs at 11.40, hopefully the pharmacy will still be operating. Over to Miss Osc’s this afternoon at some stage to wish Kellie happy birthday - 9 years old, how did that happen?

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Ally I loved C&A, never failed to find something nice to wear. We had a good local store, but their big branch in Oxford Street was always a special treat.
Happy Birthday Kellie.

We're back at the hospital again today, Ed has a physio appointment. I think Raf will be pleased with him, the new exercises have improved his movement considerably. Of course his knee is still swollen and can be sore after a bout of activity, but that's to be expected. When we're out and about if you didn't know he had a new knee you would never guess, he hasn't walked so well for years.

I'm doing a chilli for dinner and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Complete change of plan.

It's National Day of Spain tomorrow so we're going out today to kick off the celebrations with drinks and dinner.

I shall wear my new pinafore dress from C&A :P

We're meeting the boys tomorrow in Malaga for breakfast and off to Granada on Friday for the long weekend. :Hi:
