Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 22 Sep 2023, 05:46

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast a lovely 28°.

Off for a walk shortly and will have a swim when I get back.

Nipping into town to get a couple of bits and pieces.

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Every week always flies by but for some reason this week has absolutely zoomed!

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sun and cloud for us today. Not that warm, but better than yesterday  No rain forecast for the next 10 days.

cleaning for me this morning, Grumpy is going to prep a couple of walls, ready for painting.

Off to Ourique this afternoon, I have a squishing appointment, then we're meeting friends at the bar on the way back. Mitchell's son in law is flying in this morning, a really lovely man,so looking forward to meeting him again. And a new couple of people who moved into the area last week. They're friends of a friend of ours from Fuzeta, so hopefully, we'll get on.

Fish and chips for dinner :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny but rain is forecast for later.

Tesco delivery is due and DPD should be delivering Joe’s new phone. It’s his last day in his job today, then he’s got two weeks off before starting his new one. His department are taking him out for lunch and he’s been told that if the new job doesn’t work out he’ll be welcomed back.

He and Tom are off to South Wales tonight, it’s their cousin’s go karting and crazy golf stag party tomorrow.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, sun and cloud here, cooler of course but very pleasant. Edward is preparing to make a batch of apple jelly while watching the Solheim Cup golf, thanks to open plan living :D I need to go and get petrol at some stage for going to Carlow for the weekend tomorrow. Yesterday, Kellie was very interested in what we are both wearing to the ball tomorrow night, thought my outfit was “cool” and wanted to know what jewellery and shoes I was wearing with it. Then on to Edward’s clothes, she had to have the concept of a dinner suit explained to her and was very impressed with his black and gold bow tie. I have some ironing to do today, otherwise just general stuff.

Hello all and good morning

Ally, I agree, the weeks are just whizzing by - it's quite scary really. Enjoy the day and the tapas this evening x
Jan, good luck with your appointment and enjoy meeting up with everyone at the bar and hope you get on with the 'new kids on the block'
Cruiser, enjoy the morning at the school. Enjoy your afternoon pootling
Jo, bet Billy was glad to get his walk this morning :D . Safe travels to the boys and hope they have a fab time
Osc, I love the open plan space I have now - I don't watch a lot of TV but when I do it's nice that I can watch it from wherever I am and carry on doing bits and bobs. Bet you had a fab girlie time with Kellie yesterday - so precious

A lovely sunny, but cool, start to the day here, not sure if we're expecting more rain - need to have a look. Been to Sainsbury's and now need to clean and tidy in between working. I've got a friend coming round later today to collect a small bathroom cupboard and a bookshelf that I no longer have space / need for. Will be good to get them out the way; but need to empty said cupboard first.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Overcast and a tad chilly here.

The weather stayed nice all day yesterday so after lunch we got out in the garden for a good tidy up. All the pruning's done and for a few days at least there aren't any palm leaves lying all over the place.

Usual Friday wash day, but I will be spreading it over a couple of days. Bringing the 6mthly mattress turn and protective covers wash forward a few weeks. Ed usually does the heavy bit, but he will need help so we'll be doing that tomorrow, want to get it done before I go into hospital. Now just got to hope I don't get the dreaded phone call later today!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Hopefully you'll manage to get everything straight Jen!
A grey day here but not cold.
MrsC and I have ddropped the prescriptions off, been to the farm to get some eggs and done the weekend shop. She's now gone to her uncle's to drop his shopping off.
The red Ford that was stopped by the police last Friday has finally been moved. The occupants were arrested but the car wasn't moved until yesterday.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

My friend Em has Covid, and as we spend a fair bit of time together I thought I had better test too, with D being so vulnerable. Thankfully it was negative, but I have a scratchy throat so will test again tomorrow before we go out to be sure. Covid is certainly doing the rounds again here, several local FB friends have it, and our SW meeting this morning was just a weigh-in, not a proper meeting, as our class leader has it too

Jen, fingers crossed all goes well xx

Good luck Jan xx

Love to all xxx

Fingers crossed it’s negative tomorrow Kaz, this sounds like quite a nasty strain that’s doing the rounds.
