Morning Ally, morning everyone

We-re in for another 31 or 32C type of day :Hi:

Looks amazing Ally, taker lots of photos :Hi:

Feeling much more "normal" - as much as I'll ever be, anyway, so will crack on with the cleaning this morning, I did both bathrooms on Monday, so only need to dust, vacuum and mop.

Also need to do the spuds for the tuna salad we'll be having for the next couple of dinners.

Havea good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Cloudy but no rain yet. Waiting for an engineerto come to sort out the programmer for the central heating boiler.
I have tried to set it but the print for the instructions are very small and dificult to read without a magnifying glass.
He should come this morning as I was told I am the second visit on his list.
Will then go to town to have my hair cut. Myusual barber is shut. There is a notice on the door but I can't read it as I go past in the car
or on the bus.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning you three and everyone

Ally, enjoy the yomp and as Jan says; take lots of photos! It looks amazing
Jan, don't overdo it - the dust etc isn't going to go away so may as well do it bit by bit ;-)
Cruiser, hope you get the heating sorted. The instructions for those timers are so convoluted aren't they - definitely not helped by the smallest print they could fit on paper. Good luck with the barber as well.

Working from home today - had a very very lazy start to the morning and only got up at 7  So logged on and sitting here in my jimjams still - have dealt with emails and will jump in the shower once I finish this post :D

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, there is a little sunshine but there seems to have been rain earlier. I am up a bit early to go into town - Edward bought me a ring in 1968, the first summer we were going out together, and I’ve worn it nearly every day since, but the band broke recently and I’m going to see if it can be fixed. Hopefully it can, it has such huge sentimental value for us both. I’ll also collect the DPD parcel from the Abbey Theatre, it’s handy because my bus stop is just across the street from the stage door. I’ll also pick up a couple of M&as meals for today as a treat. We’re off dancing this evening.

Morning all :D

Very breezy and cloudy here.

Good luck with the climb Ally.
Don't overdo the cleaning Jan.
Hope the engineer turns up and gets the programmer sorted Cruiser.

Gosh you little devil Ria..........we didn't get up before 10am
I hope you can get the ring fixed Osc, it will be lovely if you can wear it again.

Usual Friday wash day for me, also expecting a Sainsbury's order later this afternoon. There seems to be a problem with sugar free ginger beer, it's been out of stock for the last 3 weeks. Luckily everything else is okay.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I onky wafted the duster and feather thingy around. I'd forgotten to charge the vacuum yesterday, so it's still charging

I've taken everything down to the battery store though and picked some acorns for the little piggies. Jan has ten new babies :Hi:

Well, Jan's pig has

Good afternoon all.
We've had three seasons so far today. bright sunshine first thing, then the rain came down like stair rods and now it's very gusty wind.
We've done the big shop. Sainsbury's though are getting on my nerves. Friday morning is always busy. Retired people especially like to get in and do their weekend shopping. They only had three tills open. Three! We spent more time in the queue than we did shopping. They want to be careful because if not Aldi and lidl will have some more customers.
We've dropped some ironing off at our daughter's and MrsC has popped round to her sister's for a natter.
Yes ally, some photos! Jan, crikey - ten?
Jen, we've noticed these random shortages at Sainsbury's too. Up here getting the right type of soya milk has been an issue, we couldn't get any soft brown sugar and worst of all - own brand wine gums! It's going to the dogs I say, going to the dogs!
Osc, I hope your ring can be mended. It's so sweet that you still have it.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all

It’s raining very heavily here after a beautiful start. John’s booked today off so we walked for miles first thing with Bill. The Tesco delivery has been and the bathrooms have been cleaned. We’ve got to take some shopping to my parents, pick up an order from M&S, take some things to the charity shop, go to Aldi and also take some bags of soft plastics to Tesco but not until the rain slows down.

Have a good day all :)
