Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 29 Jun 2022, 05:09

Good morning.

Sunny and scorchio. 8-)

A swim early as I've so much to do today.

Haircut at 11.

Meeting a friend afterwards for coffee and a pitufo.

Home to pack. Even though tomorrow is down as one of Ryanair's strike days I've heard nothing so I'll tip up at the airport and see what happens.

If my flight is cancelled I've got a couple of days leeway and other airlines to choose from.

Conor's coming over late afternoon.

Hopefully by then my list will have been ticked.

Our neighbour handed in a huge tortilla last night so that's dinner sorted for tonight with salad.

I'll do my nails whilst watching Sewing Bee final.

Have a great day.

Good early morning all, I really don’t like being up this early especially when I have had a poor night’s sleep. We are off to Kilkenny to the Irish Open golf pro-am. As of last night, Michael is coming with us - we had got him a ticket but said nothing to him in case he was having a lot of fun his last week in primary school. However, apparently it’s been rather boring so Miss Osc told him about the ticket yesterday and he was delighted. We’ll be picking him up shortly and hopefully will miss a lot of the traffic, it’s just about two hours away. Weather forecast is mixed but we have all the rain gear with us, plus sun cream just in case ;)

Morning Ally, Osc and everyone

Cloudy, windy and quite cool again this morning  Hopefully will warm up later, but the wind will stay

Hope you get everything done Ally :D

Have a lovely day Osc, hope the sun shines for you all xx

Off to Ourique soon, get the shopping out of the way. Need salt for the pool and water filters for the thingy wot takes all the gunk out of our water. Pit stop for coffee on the way back and then breakfast.

Out in the garden, almost finished the tidy up.

Thought we'd have a bbq later, but will see how the wind is.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

No, much worse than normal. I-ve got a cardi on now, with a t/shirt and long trousers. No sun at all yet

Good morning everybody,

We have had rain in the night but there is some blue sky with some gey clouds in the distance.
Am going to the chemist for a repeat prescription. Will then stay inside as rain is forecast. I also have a sweater on as it is not warm.
I refuse to put the central heating on in JUNE.
Enjoy the golf Osc Hope it stays fine for you

good morning all

Ally, in case I don't log on in time, safe travels tomorrow. Fingers crossed the flight is operating and all works as planned. Have a good day with your friend / Conor / dinner & TV ;-)
Jan, hope you get all you need in town and hope the sun comes out to play and also hope the wind drops so you can have a bbq
Osc, long drive but worth it - enjoy :D
Cruiser, we also had rain overnight. The weather is rather bonkers isn't it - I've still got a blanket on my duvet for night times; it's really nippy still (well esp with all the windows open :D)

Well another usual work day for me in the office. Drinks after work with our US colleagues but won't make it a late one. Am dithering about getting in a Sainsbury's delivery this evening as I just haven't had time to go shopping and really could do with chicken veg and cat food; just don't think I'll get to £40 that's needed for the delivery... I'll see.

Oh well, nothing else exciting to report - have a fab day everyone x

The sun has made an appearance, but the wind is still about with some really strong gusts.

But we'll have a bbq, just might have to move to the front of the house, out of the wind

Morning all.
Careful with the scorchio Ally. Jan I hope it warms up for you soon and that the wind drops. Have a good day at the golf Osc and hopefully the fresh air will help you sleep tonight.
We need a new duvet so will pay a visit to Dunelm today. Plus we seem to have got more junk that needs to go to the tip.
MrsC has done some supermarket shopping for her Uncle Jim and we need to drop that off.
Had to laugh the other day. Our next door neighbours Steve and Nicola went to Scarborough for the armed forces weekend. It was very busy. The highlight of the show was the much anticipated Red Arrows, but Steve missed them as he was in the chip shop when they came over.
Have a good day all.
