Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cold morning.

Lousy nights sleep again, been awake since 3.00

Cleaning morning for us, Grumpy will do the floors and I'll do the rest.

Meeting friends at the bar this afternoon, as they're shut tomorrow afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.

I have woken to a dusting of snow and it has just started again. Snow flurries are predicted for most of the day but looking at the roads it appears to be turning to slush not long after it lands. I will be staying in and probably do a bit of cleaning.

Heating on and warm brews are the order of the day.

Keep warm and stay safe. xx

Morning you lot, morning everyone

Jan, I've been having that as well - come 2 / 3am I wake up and then struggle to get back to sleep.
Ally, enjoy the lunch ;-)
Frank, with that kind of weather even I would be tempted to stay in and clean :D I love snow, but slushy snow isn't particularly nice

Well another usual / usual for me... a trip to Sainsbury's will be the highlight of the day

Have a lovely day all x

Morning peeps.
We have dropped Eliza off at nursery and filled up with petrol. Ran into an old friend (not literally) at the petrol station, which was nice.
Currently I am in Sainsbury's car park whilst MrsC does the shop.
It was a foul start to the day, dark and cold with snow and sleet. Now we have blue skies.
Not sleeping is a pain so Jan and RIA I hope that gets sorted soon.
I think the excitement of the day is mainly behind me now, may try and have a nap this afternoon.
Stay warm and dry everyone.

Good morning everybody.

Since I got up at 7.00 a.m there has been snow, sleet rain and now there is some blue sky and sunshine.
Have been to Tesco and made a little detour to book appointments for pedicures later this year.
Now back home, going to have a coffee and then clean windows. There are marks where the suckers which held the lights show.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s bright, breezy and sunny but not as chilly as yesterday.

Bill’s had his first walk of the day, the ground wasn’t as frosty today which was a shame as the mud wasn’t frozen  Got back in time to see Joe leave. He was off to pick up Amanda, load the car up with her belongings and then get an early start to Falmouth. He’ll be back on Sunday night.
Tom’s off for a meal tonight after work, not sure who with as he doesn’t supply much information   Could be with work people, could be with Shannon.

I’ve just hoovered through the house, now I’m waiting for the Tesco delivery which is due in the next 45 minutes. Royal Mail should also be delivering today and I’m not sure if Hermes are due too. Joe’s still waiting for a parcel which they should’ve delivered on the 29th, the status has been that it was at the local depot on the 28th. Tom had something delivered by them on Wednesday which he’d ordered on the 31st so it’s obviously not a staff shortage issue, just a usual useless disorganised Hermes one. Joe contacted them on Tuesday and was told his would be delivered within 48 hours but that didn’t happen.

Have a good day all :D

Nothing exciting happening here, we're expecting a delivery between 1-2pm and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s cold and dreary here and the forecast rain has arrived. Edward very wisely cancelled his golf early on, and has spent some time doing a basic tidy up of the attic (“my” side is always fairly tidy, but his was a bit of a mess ;) ) We plan to do a bit of a clear out soon. I’ve been to have my shellacs removed, the nail bar was busy and I met a couple of people I knew. Ironing beckons in a while :? Might find a nice film to watch this afternoon, so much that is on at the moment is miserable, so I’m insisting on finding some light cheerful films to balance it out. Why do they make so few feelgood films now?
