again, sorry for the radio silence last week... I had the most amazing five days (well four full and two half days) in Tenerife; what a lovely place it was. Got there Monday evening and did nothing but chill, sleep, eat, read, drink too many cocktails for the time we were there. I did log on for work twice a day but that was it - so a good break away

Now back to reality and laundry! Sigh

Will catch up properly tomorrow but just wanted to say hello x

My brother lived in Tenerife, years ago, and we went to visit him. He organised the apartment and then gave us a couple of days out, up Mount Tiede, saw the other part of the island, all the banana plantations, Lovely place.

Frank, that plume of smoke in the background is the volcano. We only saw that on the first night we were there. Apparently most (if not all - not sure about that) flights from Tenerife on Saturday were cancelled because of volcano activity; so we were lucky that our flight on Sunday wasn't affected
