Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 Jul 2021, 04:44

Good morning.

This very pleasant weather continues. :D

Thanks for the vibes yesterday. I'll update on the HB later.

A woody walk first though.

Day 8 (already!) so it's self testing Covid day.

I'll do that then walk to the priority post box and get it off.

Back to finish painting the shed. I only have the door to do now. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Still blowing a hooley, so although the sun is out, it feels rather chilly. Warmer later, hopefully.

Hope your dad is feeling better Ally xx

Ironing this morning and Grumpy still has the list from yesterday :cute:

BBQ later, if the wind drops.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Grey and wet here again.
Well done with the shed Ally! Jan, you do seem to be having some strange weather for Portugal in July. MrsC loves ironing Cruiser; her mum used to hate it.
This afternoon we are going to a retail park near us so MrsC can look at getting a new coat.
Apart from that it's just getting a paper day. My son got me a book for Father's Day, "The illustrated man" by Ray Bradbury. An old school sci-fi book. I read it when I was in my teens. It's still good today.
Have a lovely day everyone.

We certainly are. Only 22C at the moment and blowing a hooley still. And the bedspread is still on the bed  Unheard of for July.

Hello all

Ally, I need to empty and tidy my shed and also give it a lick of paint; fancy coming over once you've finished your dads? :D
Cruiser, hope you get everything done. I don't mind ironing - not that I do much of it to be honest; it's the getting the ironing board out every time that really annoys me and the fact that I don't have anwhere that's really ideal for ironing. I probably would iron most things if I had somewhere where the board could just be up all the time
Crommers, hope Mrs C finds what she wants
Saundra, have you seen the forecast for the rest of this week - brighter / warmer weather on its way yay!!! Gives me hope that I may get some vegetables to actually grow and ripen.
Jan, hope your weather improves a bit

A busy morning for me catching up with family and friends in SA and making sure they're are all safe - worrying times for them over there. Then the usual work bits and bobs and about to pop out to pick up a few groceries. The weather today is rather odd; lovely blue skies when I woke up but now it's overcast with a feel of rain in the air.

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Afternoon all, it’s quite dull here and feels as if it could rain, most definitely not what was forecast :x and it had better not rain on my washing. Just bits and bobs today, and waiting for a registered parcel to be delivered here for Miss Osc - the postmen know that if she is not in her office, they can bring stuff here. I’ve been to the post office to transfer money to the credit card for our holiday next month, fingers crossed it happens. I’m reading a good book that I’d like to finish so I might do that this afternoon while Edward is out playing golf.

Morning all :D

Quite bright here, fingers crossed it stays dry.

We're popping over to Westwood Cross later, I need to return the two dresses I picked up from M&S last week and no doubt will find a few bits that are 'essential' shopping

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Just been chatting to sis in France Jan and they have rain. Again!

Normally Michele resembles David Dickinson's love child  as she spends so much time outdoors on their farmland but this year she's very much a lighter colour.

Don's been reporting nice temps of 36ish for him so he's happy it's not ridiculously hot.
