Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 29 Jun 2021, 04:32

Good morning.

Oh wooopeee. A whole 2 degrees cooler than yesterday so only 41. :o

Just leaving for a walk shortly. Back for a swim, coffee, shower then we're off to Torremolinos. Don's got a dental check-up so Jacob and I are going along for the ride. We'll pop into Dealz and the spice shop.

IKEA for new towels for our en-suite and the guest bedroom. Jacob loves IKEA!  Once he's had his fill of shopping we'll have lunch there. You can have anything from a 50 cent hotdog to a 3 course lamb shank meal.

Conor's coming over late afternoon and we're going to Baranda to watch the England game. They've got a huge TV outside, parasols and cold beer. That'll do nicely. Tapas for dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Still cool in the morning, with a brisk breeze, so feels cold. But warming up a little today. Still not proper temperatures, but we'll manage

Off out soon, as we're trying to get to Leroy Merlin early, before the rush, then also doing ikea. I'll get more sheets and other stuff. Not sure where we're going after that, I'll just sit in the back and enjoy the scenery 8-)

Grumpy has a list of stuff to do ;) but he's also got men in lycra this afternoon.

I've taken some stuff out of the freezer, as I have no idea what time I'll get back.

Enjoyed the footie yesterday, hope today's matches match them.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally & Janb and everybody else who is up.
Fitter coming back this morning to fit the units. Spent yesterday afternoon repositioning the main stop tap.
So hopefully this afternoon I will be able to get water down stairs. Have to come upstairs to get cold water. Have not bothered making a hot drink
It will be luxery when I can get back to normal.

Morning all cloudy here
Got woken up at 7-30 y a workman who I thought was delivering a parcel
So I'm shouting out the window
It's not a parcel to delivery
It's to tell me that today they are putting high fibre broadband in the area so digging holes and stuff
Not a good start
Enjoy your days out ally and Jan
Soon be finished cruiser by everyone for now or a week?

Morning all, sun and cloud here. We’ve swopped our day for having Michael and Kellie as we won’t be here on Thursday. In fact it will just be Kellie, as Edward is bringing Michael and his pal to play pitch and putt. Then Michael and his pal will go to play some tennis before going home on the bus. Michael’s pal is going to Lithuania for the summer so this will be their last day together for two months. I have a list of stuff to do before picking Kellie up from school, so I had better get on with it.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but dry for now.

Have a fun day out Jan.
All the hassle will be well worth it when it's done Cruiser.

Up early so we can have a nice easy morning. Our biggest adventure yet today, we're off to the cinema just before 1pm to see Fast & Furious 9. Afterwards we'll walk round to the carvery, I've booked a table for 4pm, late lunch, early dinner. Ridiculously excited to be back to doing things that were normal pastimes for us pre Covid. Okay it will be a bit different, masks etc, but whoop, whoop :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good morning all.
That sounds like a nice day Jen. I wouldn't have been chuffed at that early call Saundra!
We have Eliza here atm. In a while we'll go to the farm to buy some eggs and MrsC will take her to feed the ducks in the park.
have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon folks! Best described as "fresh" outside today, in complete contrast to yesterday.

Going shopping tonight. Around 5:00. I think it may be quiet ..... :cute:

Have a lovely time Jen :Hi: :Hi:

Success :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: I managed to find some rather nice lightshades for the garden room. And they were reduced, so even better. Did ikea and then we got lost coming home  Saw parts of the Algarve I'd never seen before   Serves them right for trying to beat the stnav

Met Grumpy at the bar, now we're heading into the pool, as the wind has dropped.

And he did the ironing   Not all of it, but most of it. Well done that man, apart from ironing one of my blouses, then folding it, instead of hanging it up  So I now have to re-do it

Well the weather isn't brilliant here, but the sun is shining for me! We've had some brilliant news about Mick's health. He's had some tests to see if a problem he's been having is cancerous or not, and we've heard today that the results are all fine :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: That's a few weeks of worry that I wouldn't want to go through again! We both feel like a huge weight has lifted!

Love to all xxx
