Good morning Tuesday

Postby meriad » 18 May 2021, 06:57

Good morning everyone - wow, cannot believe I'm first

Board meeting day today so I'll be at my computer / very close to it from now until 4pm. I'm not actively involved but need to be on standby to allow different people to access the meeting at different times. Not a nice day outside anyway so I'm going to bring some plants that need potting up into the house and do that at the dining table that's just behind my :D win win - work whilst doing fun things :D

Hope everyone is keeping well - have a lovely day xxx

Morning Ria, morning everyone

Another lovely, warm day brewing.

Still a lot of land clearing going on, we can hear the drone of tractors all over the place. Also, all or most of the cutting has been done and now the bailers are out and about. Not sure when our field will be done, but it's all nicely in lines, ready and waiting.

A huge pile of ironing for me this morning. Grumpy is under orders to clear the fence line by the car port, so he won't have far to go, to give the donkeys their breakfast. Heaven knows what they'll be eating once we've finished weeding. They're not underfed, just don't have anything fresh to eat.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and quite warm so far. The rain never seems far away though and that’s forecast for later.

Bill’s had his first walk and there’s washing on the line. Joe’s booked the afternoon off, he’ll be home just after 12 and we’re leaving for Manchester by 2pm. It sounds daft to leave so early when it’s only 60ish miles away but who knows how the M6 will be running, there have been times in the last few years when it’s taken over 3 hours. We’ve been given a time of 5.15 to enter the stadium so need to be there and parked up by 5. It’ll be very different to the old way of going to a game but hopefully another step forwards to normality.

Have a good day all :)

Good morning everybody,

There was a lovely blue sky when I got up, but there are now some grey clouds about.

House work today. Have cleaned the windows inside and out for the lounge. Now having a coffee before I start dusting and hoovering.
I am doing one room at a timeas it has not been done properly since Audrey died.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all.
It was a lovely start to the day, now like Cruiser there is cloud bubbling up.
Eliza is at playgroup, we will go for her in a bit.
A wine delivery is coming today, hooray!
Our daughter has started a new job and is stressed out about it, as she always is when swapping jobs.
MrsC is baking.
Benidorm Dave the carpet fitter is coming tomorrow, he's a country music fan so we need to get him some Johnny Cash from the atm.
Have a good day all.

that's the right way to do it Cruiser; no point trying to get it all done in one go and feeling overwhelmed.

Crommers - fancy redirecting the wine in my direction?

Saundra (((hug))) - are you able to get out a bit more now that restrictions are lifting?

Morning all, it’s not too bad here although there is rain forecast - quelle surprise  It is my sister’s birthday today so we are going to Miss Osc’s later for takeaway pizza and I’ve made a cake. Not a total lemon drizzle, a little bit of drizzle and I’ll ice it with buttercream then decorate with raspberries, I saw that on the internet and it looked nice. I’ve done my chair yoga and need to tidy around now, as Edward has gone to play golf.

Morning all :D

One minute bright sunshine, the next overcast :?

Good luck with the ironing Jan, one of my least favourite jobs.
Hope it all goes smoothly Jo, have a great time.
Sensible to take it one room at a time Cruiser.
Crommers I'm with Ria, more than happy for you to redirect the wine in my direction
Hope your headache eases Saundra.
The cake sounds yummy Osc.

Various things planned for today, need to return some sandals I bought from QVC, could be interesting as it will be the first time I've braved the post office since the first lockdown. Also hope to take E over to the clifftop for a walk this afternoon weather permitting, and then we'll pop into our surgery with the forms necessary to get access to our records sorted.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Ria and Jen, I'm sorry but the wine is strictly medicinal! As it is desperately needed medical supplies re-direction is impossible. :Hi: :Hi:
