Morning Al and all, it’s quite bright here at the moment.

We’re off out with Bill in a minute, just around the village though as it’s horribly muddy on the common and in the woods, it’s not nice to walk on. It’d dried up beautifully too until the rain returned last week :?

Hope Kaz is feeling better today x

Good luck for E today!

Have a good day all :)

Should be about 24C later today Jo. Lovely temperature for the day, but we're still really cold at night  Single figures  so the fire is lit. Almost out of wood

Morning all

Thinking of Jen and E today and hope all goes well
Jo, I'm also envious of that BBQ - I'm so ready for warmth now; done with this cold. I know many people struggle in January but I really find February and March harder because by then enough is enough and spring must hurry up :D

Kaz, how are you feeling - hopefully loads better ((hugs))

Well another usual usual for me. Will try get the bedroom door and door frame painted but that's about it. Oh and help an elderly neighbour with her computer

Have a lovely day everyone; enjoy whatever it is you're up to

As always stay safe and for those here in the UK; stay warm x

Morning all, it started out dull here but the cloud is gradually breaking up. We had a hard day’s labour yesterday working on Kellie’s playhouse. It had been allowed to get in a bad state by the previous owner so the day was spent covering the worst wall with sheets of wood inside and out. When we dismantled the built in furniture in Miss Osc’s bedroom, all the wood panelling was kept, so we used that. Lots of carrying, measuring, cutting, but we got it done. Today will be more clearing away vegetation, ivy penetrating inside etc. and seeing what more rotten wood might need replacing. We were shattered by the time we were coming home, so it was dinner from the chipper. We were in bed by 10.30 last night and I don’t feel too bad today, all things considered.

I hope all goes well for E today.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Hope you're feeling better Kaz xx

E's pick up arrived just before 5am. He went to bed extra early so it wasn't too much of a shock for him, but I only got 4hrs sleep so went back to bed. He's seen Mr. Palmer and the anaesthetist, both were upbeat. He's opted for a general this time, no one knows for sure if the spinal caused the problem last time, but E doesn't want to risk it. The only fly in the ointment is he's not going down until this afternoon, a long time to wait, especially when you're a bit anxious. He's been video calling me on/off since I woke up lol Methinks it's going to be a long day.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
